OMG. absolutely stunning shots 😍
Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to making more videos soon and hopefully inspiring others to get out there and capture their own stunning drone footage.
Stunning Aerial Views
This video is gonna make me buy my son a drone
Haha, that's awesome! Just make sure he flies responsibly.
@@galinschi_studio I hear they r trying to ban drones on Sept. 9th I wrote 2 letters to senators and congressman to oppose this vile law. You should be telling your community to do the same.
Good shit bro...
Thank you
So absolutely beautiful shots… But are you flying in an SFRA?
Yes we are
I'm Amazing with your pictures, Congratulations!!
Thank you very much!
Awesome - thanks for the footage/info
Glad you enjoyed it
Great shots!
Thank you so much!
awesome❤😊
really nice cityscapes and interested in your lightroom adjustments, I have an Air 3, its great, but would love to adjust the aperture.
One of the reasons I went with the mavic 3 pro was for the aperature control and the larger sensor.
Great video! Beautiful shots!! Do you need to get authorization to fly there?
Thank you! I would recommend adhering to both FAA regulations and NYPD guidelines.
Really like your video style, relaxing background music. And some nice footage! Subbed!
Thank you so much! I'll be sure to upload more!
Keep posting mate! ❤ your channel
Thanks, will do!
7:28-7:50 is a killer drone shot. Well done mate, would see that in cinemas if upscaled to 2K in post.
Thank you! Absolutely, I hope you subscribe and follow my journey of making some awesome drone footage! 😁
fantastic video!!!
Thank you so much!
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Great stuff. :)
Thank you!
Very nice.. beautiful pics. Do you have to get some approval to fly over there to nyc as i think u took off from Brooklyn.
Yes you do
I have the Air2S and Mavic 3 Pro as well. I’m curious why you had your ISO set so high. The images almost has a HDR look to them unless that’s the look you were going for. I have a dope photo I took of the Philly skyline at night with my Air 2S and I had my ISO at 100. Also in the beginning when you were getting a lot of errors before launching, Check your launch location. If you are launching from a location with steel beams under the pavement, that can cause issues with the drone. I would either change my launch location or use my case if it’s a hard case to launch from instead of the sidewalk or pavement.
I'm not sure if you listened to the audio for the video, but I explain what the issue was. As for ISO, it's a given when you're shooting a video in low light. As for photos for the Mavic 3 Pro, the ISO range of 300 to 400 is acceptable, and you won't notice a big difference compared to, let's say, the Air 2S. On that drone, the difference is much more noticeable.
i tried a few times at night with my mini 3 pro at night. pretty rough on the low lighting. this drone was the one i couldnt afford lol. nice looks fantastic
It would still have to be a well-lit area to see anything. Was the area well-lit where you flew?
@galinschi_studio it was in the heart of a descent size downtown city yea. But the blacks washed out and the focus was aaaaaallll over the place bad on my mini 3 pro
@alienman7866 I'm sorry to hear that. I know the sensor size on the Mini plays a big role as well. Even my Air 2S with a 1-inch sensor didn't do well for video, but photos in manual mode worked amazingly.
@galinschi_studio with a fixed AP my mini 3 pro has been tricky to get good shots at night. It's not terrible but i wouldn't use it for a clieng
@alienman7866 Oh yeah, for sure. It's more of a hobby thing.
Belas imagens
very cool. U weren't bracketing any of those images?
No, the dynamic range is impressive on this drone. Just a long exposure.
Great shots. I have this drone on order myself, happy to see such quality in the photographs. :) Just wondering how the regulations are for flying a drone in New York? In Norway its pretty strict. You cant fly above 120 m, and some cities are off limits.
Just a little Google search and it will guide you with permits, etc., which areas are allowed, etc.
@@galinschi_studio Not going there anytime soon :)
Losing signal @ 1355 ft is that normal bc of the city interference ?
Was the signal directly overhead, or was it extending out into the field? Typically, when you're in or near a city, signal interference can be an issue. You need to be extra cautious with the return-to-home function. Make sure the return altitude is higher than any nearby obstacles. If you lose the signal completely, the drone will attempt to return home, and if there are objects in its path, it could potentially collide with them.
Great
Thank you!
Would love to know how you edit your night shots.
Coming soon!
Great video one sub for you 😊
Awesome pictures & Video. I need to upgrade to the M3P.
Thank you so much! What are you currently shooting in?
@@galinschi_studio Mostly with the Mini 3 Pro sometimes the old Magic 2 Pro. Will be upgrading soon I hope.
I have the mini 3 and i also had the mini 2, to me it feels like a big stepup in sharpness of the inages, since it's 48mpx instead of 12mpx(also f1.7 for low light), but sometimes the photos are blurry no matter the shutter speed, I've read it does have fixed focus, so it shouldn't have a problem with that, what do you think might be the problem?
It's funny you mention that, because I've had that issue with the Air 2 and Air 2S. It almost looks in focus but is very blurry. I think it's just a software processing issue. But in my experience, it was when I tried shooting video, not photos. I'll be posting a video comparing night photos between the Air 2S and Mavic 3 Pro soon, so make sure to subscribe. Also, make sure to post some photos of your Mini 3. I'd love to get the Mini 3 or 4 eventually as a travel drone.
The 48 megapixels are achieved by shifting those pixels around. As I understand it, it takes four 12-pixel images and stacks them together to give you 48 megapixels. This is almost like bracketing photos, which could cause blurry results once the images are stacked together.
@@galinschi_studio that's what I also thought, but couldn't find a lot of information about it anywhere, it takes a lot of time to capture 48mpx raw. I just thought the card is slow, but mich be the stacking, the blur was visible even in raw files so any processing shouldn't be made to those, idk. Thanks for answering
@stepancivin2407 Are you able to change the megapixels? I know with the Mavic 3 Pro on the 3x zoom, I have a function to shoot 48 megapixels or 12.
@@galinschi_studio yes I can shoot in 12mpx, I just like the 48mpx, I will do some testing now that we have brought this up
Nice video does the night mode have zoom on it?
I believe the night mode is only available for the 1x (24mm) camera, but I'm not sure if the digital zoom is a possibility.
Thanks
What can I use for photo editing bro, I have a mini 2 se
video or photo?
@@galinschi_studio for photo, I’m using rush for videos right now but color grading is really difficult for me. Do you have any videos on that and if not maybe do one, I’ll definitely tune in to learn some new stuff. Thanks
Sure, just make sure to subscribe. I've never used Rush; I use Adobe products such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop. I will be making more tutorials on video and photo editing.
great vid - I guess there was no wind that n8 and may I ask if anyone can start his drone in this area??
There was barely any wind, but this drone performed phenomenally, staying stable and hovering effortlessly in the air.
Beautiful. Did you apply for a permit and if so was it easy to get? To my knowledge it's been illegal to fly in New York City except in a very few places for a long time.
I don't offer legal advice or claim to be an expert on all laws. However, there are forums that discuss this topic, and you can apply for a license with the NYPD. Please note that the application fee is $150 and is non-refundable.
So in other words, No. He did not apply for a permit and is flying illegally.
Nick, where’s that location. Under which bridge? You are on the Brooklyn side yes? I don’t think you need any permits there…..
Please note that I am not qualified to provide legal advice or claim knowledge of local laws. The video was filmed near the Manhattan Bridge. For your safety, please adhere to all applicable regulations and local laws when flying.
what time was this? 3am? no traffic on MB or BB ..
I don't believe it was that late
Edit video "PLEASE & THANK YOU" bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you and coming soon!
thanks again Nick from the mountains of Idaho!
You're very welcome from the concrete jungle of NYC, lol.
Well worth watching. Just wondered why so many of your photos were done while in Pro Mode with MM setting of +1.0. Is it because you like the look of a bright sky at night? It looked like you had no wind that night (East River looked super calm). With some wind, I've found that the two telephoto cameras aren't as stable as the main camera and over 1 second can be tricky. I've found the 3x and 7x cameras can be a lot more useful for enlarging photos if you use sharpening/noise reduction software (Topaz labs).
Thank you so much! So the MM is an "EV" that indicates the amount of light (exposure amount) obtained from the combination of "lens aperture value" and "shutter speed." I believe that increasing the shutter speed to 1 second increases the EV automatically.
As a previous Air 2S user, I had to take multiple images of the same scene as many of them would have gotten ruined from motion blur. With this particular drone, I didn't experience that, but regarding video at 7x, I definitely see the instability, which is simply the fact that at that focal length, it's hard to keep the footage stable, just like handheld shooting. A video looks much more stable shooting a video at 1x than 10x or 5x on the iPhone without digital stabilization.
@@galinschi_studio Yes slowing the shutter speed would change the EV but you could then change the aperture to get EV back to 0.0.
Drone flying at 491 feet? Any collision avoidance lighting?
I would recommend attaching a flashing LED to the top of the drone for safety and to comply with regulations. (Please note that nothing I say constitutes legal advice.)
491 feet is what the DJI Fly app allowed me to do due to the zone restrictions.
@@galinschi_studiobut the FAA restricts you to 400 ft.
Great job!
@@lesscan400 feet above the tallest structure*
@@PANCKES-ih4yy ummmm..... Wrong. It's 400 ft over a structure if you're standing within 50 ft of that structure. Not flying all over the fucking city.
Really nice images !
Are you on Flickr ?
Thank you so much! Right now, I’m only on Instagram and Facebook.
What permission do you need to fly there? Can you orient me please? Thanks!!
From my understanding, it's: You have to apply to the NYPD, and the application fee is a nonrefundable $150.
I'm not sure what you're saying, because translation doesn't work that well here. But if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything.
"Notoriously", in common usage, implies negative fame, not something positive like the Mavic 3 Pro Night mode.
Thank you for correcting me on the usage of the word "notorious." English is my second language, and I'll definitely remember that "notorious" typically describes something widely known for negative reasons. lol
When he paused and said notorious… I was like “oh no…” lol this put out an amazing video though. I’m definitely pulling the trigger on the mavic 3 pro
I wanted to fly over NYC the other day, but to my understanding you need a "takeoff/landing permit"?
Can you give me more information about the regulations?
