This is one of the most delicate, sensitive and very important topic. Thank you Pastor Mark Finley for talking about it…I’m sure and probably you know, that regardless how careful and articulate and cautious are you with your words. 1.God has created all himan beings in His image. Through the fall we all have tendencies, propensities toward evil.
2. God calls us to love not hate. The Christian ethic calls us to be compassionate and respectful of one another.
3. To love another does not mean we approve a lifestyle out of harmony with God’s will. The most loving thing we can do is to share the amazing grace of God that forgives our past, transforms our present, and gives us hope for the future.
4. The LGBTQ+ lifestyle is not in harmony with the Bible and according to scripture deviates from God’s will and is sin.
5. Through the grace of God all of us can experience new life in Christ through His transforming grace.

Unfortunately, most sufferers will not accept our love in Christ until they see the truth of God about their bias/confusion of identity.
as long as this is not the case, they will see us as intolerant and loveless and will not want to do anything with this God, who is unjust in their eyes.
That's why we have to pray for these people.
Also for those who have accepted Christ but are still unaware of their sinful homosexual behavior or their true identity in Christ as a created woman or man.

There is no difference. Humans are incapable of separating the sin from the sinner and will only hurt and persecute "the other". Even your God can't separate the sin from the sinner and just burns sinners in hell. You're just picking on a group of innocent folks... the least powerful and most vulnerable in our society.

As a fellow SDA for many years I appreciate leaders like yourself for speaking up on this matter and how our children’s minds are being filled with filth at school and in the world. However, it saddens me that you and other elders in the SDA Church are not speaking up about the infiltration of the LGBTQ+ in our church. It’s easy to speak against the things of the world. Let’s get our Church back on track.

@@nancyoni1234. Too little, too late. About this should've been spoken 20 or 40 years ago when the gay movement was small. Now they gained enourmous power, and they are unstoppable at spreading they'r moral misery. And this is just a soothing feather at they'r arm pit. Any questions?
Mark Finley is playing his part. He is preaching to the church and the outside world. If the SDA church chooses to ignore him, don't blame him.
I grew up as a SDA, baptised at the age 14, went to the SDA school, but had to transfer to a public school to do year 11 and 12. Couldn’t afford to go to the SDA colleges so I went to a University closer to my home town. Then life happened and I strayed from the church. I have always had one foot in the door so to speak, but I had lost my way and my passion for the Lord. Its been over 30 years and I am trying to find my way back. With such a large gap I have noticed just how much the ways of the church and the people in it have changed. Including some influential people of the church. On one hand its like we should be accepting of all that come into the SDA church as that is the teachings of Jesus, to be accepting of everyone and to show them the way unto the Lord. This includes LGBTQ+ individuals. However, some of them want it both ways, that is to gain the love of Christ without changing their ways. How do we know that this is not the work of the devil to try and influence the christian community within the house of the Lord.? Its almost like how one rotten apple if left long enough will eventually spoil the good fruit around it. Plus how are charasmatic christians these days allowed to come into the SDA church and still be allowed to behave in ways that is not accepted nor taught by the SDA church. My first impression was, what has happened to the SDA church. Why are they slacking off on what use to be such high reverent standards. So much has changed, and these are just a couple of examples, which really has me quite concerned as a whole about the church and its current standards. Sometimes I wonder just what I have walked back into. Perhaps I am just looking for that old time religion that I once new and loved. However, now more than ever, I need all the help I can get to bring my family and myself unto the Lord. But if what I am seeing doesn’t bring me confidence within how the SDA churches are run these days, then what hope have my family and myself got.? If you cant trust the church and what goes on within it, then what honest hope have you got? I am an Australian and not an American, but it seems like the same thing is happening all around the world. The devil is obviously working overtime, particularly within our churches. Which can often be difficult for one to navigate their way back to the Lord, particularly when you have been away for so long. The only person I truly trust right now and have felt comfortable enough with the truth of the message is my Dad. He was the one that directed me to start watching Mark Finlay, and his sermons., along with a few other well presented speakers. I thank the Lord for his direction, as I know I am going to feel alone and quiet vulnerable when the time comes for him to sleep until Jesus comes.
I share the same views with you, I am not a born SDA but came in from churchless to catholic then SDA. What attracted me to SDA is nolonger there, is that those men of God in the rural areas are not the same as the urban pastors? Everything seems different for the last decade and this has led me to stop going to church in totality.

I was raised in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church by my earthly hero, my mom. I am now 56 and remain an Adventist. I know, and believe in the Word of God, in what God says about All of the sins that He finds abhorrent. I love Pastor Finley and appreciates him preaching God’s Biblical Truths. It sure would be refreshing however, if he, as well as other pastors would speak to the abhorrent attitudes from people whom say they are Christians. There is a rise in this country of Christian Nationalism, and there are many on the Evangelical right that are saying there should no longer be a separation between church and state. As a country, we went through, and are still going through, many whom are encouraging fascistic policies. These warnings should also be preached, because those pushing this dangerous ideology are also doing it with an agenda to control every man, woman,and child in the image they want us to espouse. Where have the all the pastors been in denouncing the last president for his blasphemy. If my SDA pastors feel the Lord wants them to preach on the agendas set up by the LGBTQ+ community, then I ask them to also preach on the real dangers of many trying to turn our nation into a neo-fascistic one led by people who are attracted to authoritarianism. There are still some men and women in the SDA church that are standing for Bible teaching dispite the wind of change to a more safe way with the world. It is easier to stand with the world than to stand now in the minority, but we ought to fear God not the world.
Don't wait for the church to take a stance on anything though, keep your faith in God and follow his ways always even when it is not popular with the world as we look forward to his second coming.

Because when anyone grieves the Holy Spirit that convicts for his or her sins they lose the power to confess their sins. and we all know that if any sin is not confessed under the great sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ it will remain in the heavenly books as unforgiven.
Wanted to share as I heard from Ps Randy Skeete. Such a beautiful understanding about the "unforgiving sin" I just paraphrase it. Where sin abounds grace of God much more abounds. .. His mercies endures forever.
