I'm confused. I thought that all of the sculpts on this channel were by Marcus Whinney and this image is also on Marcus Whinney's Artstation page (as per the provided link). But the promo is for "Follow the link below to WingFox and start your course today, WingFox Presents: Designing a Horror Creature by artist PETER OCAMPO". Now Peter's work looks quite interesting but why are you (Marcus) promoting a tutorial series by Peter whilst presenting another of your timelapses? Please don't misunderstand; I realise that "MLW Creative", although based on your (Marcus) name, can involve any number of digital artists; Peter included. It's just that, personally, I'd much rather see you (Marcus) presenting your workflow as that is what all of your subscribers are here to see. Whether it be presented here on your You Tube page (in parts, or presented in whatever format you want; beyond your inspiring but not all that informative timelapses). Again, personally, I would be happy to pay a similar price for a product along similar lines to what you are promoting here by Peter Ocampo (sorry, Peter, I don't mean to dismiss or under-value your work but it's not why I have subscribed to MLW Creative. I have subscribed because I'd love to learn more from Marcus and his workflow). I do hope I'm not sounding unappreciative of what you present here for your subscribers for free; just know that I, for one (and I imagine there would be many more), would be happy to pay for a detailed workflow tutorial series sold via WingFox (or Gumroad, Artstation, Patreon, etc)..........
Hi Erwin ... The beginning section is a sponsor deal i have with WingFox. I promote the tutorials on their site and they in turn have a deal with me. Its not uncommon to have a sponsor deal with other companies injected into videos on CZcams, its like advertising. Plus WingFox have amazing Tutorials from many Industry Professionals which might be of use to people who watch my channel. I'm not forcing people to buy the product just showing and supporting other artists. I created MLWCreative as a passion project to get my work seen and inspire others in the field of art, if other Art related companies want me to support them then i will do so. But i intend to carry on with my own works as usual for my subscribers alongside helping others. ... and i do have a Full tutorial planned for the future of which i am working on but i have to find time between fulltime working so its taking longer to accomplish.
