    Regarding MCD revenue… The 10Year chart can be deceiving without context. They have been selling their corporate owned stores to franchise owners. This means the total revenue is lower as they now longer are capturing every sale, but the margins are much better.

    Ill continue to add to my MCD position. I think theyll do long-term. Especially when they automate a lot more aggressively.

    Nice video with good analysis. In my case, I have been investigating in MSCI and DE for some time now. I sold MCD and purchased TXRH, sold PEP and bought CELH. I am wary of companies like BMY, so I am not touching it. Let's see if I made wise decisions in another 5 years.

    i have all excepting DE! it's very frustrating to have those on minus, when lower quality stocks are priced for perfection for the next 20 years!
    if you had to choose only 1 from the above, to which would you add/buy in new position?
    i'd like to add to all, but no cash for now, also waiting for a recession-like correction...from the entire market!

    The DE cash flow numbers you show don't match the information in their 10k annual reports. For 2018 you show -1B of FCF but the DE 10k shows 1.822B of cash from operating activities and -0.896B of CapX for a FCF of 0.926B. In 2019 you show 0 of FCF while their 10k reports 3.412B of cash from operations and -1.12B of CapX giving 2.292B of FCF. Where are you getting your data for these charts? Do you check that the numbers are correct?

      The financial data is obtained from the company’s financial reports. Each statement is standardized, reviewed, and up-to-date to ensure the highest integrity possible. The data itself is sourced from SEC filings.

    • @tfmajka13
      @tfmajka13 Před 2 měsíci

      @Dividendology but they don't match the numbers reported in DE's 10k filings to SEC for those years. It might be good to double-check these numbers occasionally.

    @BigFunAgency Před 2 měsíci

    You talk about the “starting yield”, implying that it will go up, but as you know, this rarely happens. Your so-called “dividend growth” has nothing to do with a rising yield - it is actually just an accounting adjustment to keep the yield roughly the same. If the stock price goes up or down, the company needs to adjust the dividend so that the yield remains consistent.

    • @Dividendology
      @Dividendology  Před 2 měsíci +2

      Yield on cost. Buy a stock and you get their starting yield. They increase dividends. Your yield on cost is now higher than the initial yield you bought.
