It's a fair question. You might have limited time so is Muir Woods worth the effort if takes to get there? Once you know about these hidden gems I'm betting yes.
I used to go so early in the morning, I would get there before the rangers and the crowds. It really is worth it to go, Cathedral Grove is probably my favorite spot there, so quiet.
Great stuff, my friend! Thanks! The last time I was there it was equally as wet, foggy, and cool. And yea, now that I think about it, it was probably better that way.
Great informative video! For the least amount of hassle, I would recommend Henry Cowell Redwoods for Bay Area residents, especially if you're in the South Bay. Unlike Muir Woods and Big Basin, you don't need reservations. They have a nice nature trail with some nice old growth specimens and you can go for a longer hike if you wish.
In your opinion, do you think it's worth the extra 6 hour + drive to see the redwoods in RNP or are the ones in Muir woods the same? I'm trying to plan a trip and need some advice. Thank you for the informative videos!❤
If you have limited time don’t do the drive. Redwoods national Park is spectacular but unless you’re going to spend a few days there and do some hiking Muir Woods is a wonderful place to visit. But make sure you spend a day to get to Yosemite!
I loved your content! More power to you!❤
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate you letting me know. I love making the videos but it is nice hearing from folks who like watching them ☺️

Thanks for the tip! I think I'm going to put that on my list of places to visit as I have never been. Thank you!
