The lack of labels is really disappointing. I really do feel like Chef Mickey's is not worth it when there are other places available that are so much better. Places like Tusker House are right there. I feel like this is the place you go when you have a very picky child and no adventurous spirit. Thanks again for the review and I do love that you always provide other options if something is disappointing at the end.

You're absolutely right and thank you so much!! Tusker is a much better option to see the characters. It would be nice to see a character breakfast like Tusker inside a resort so park admission is not required.

That 13$ all star breakfast frittata platter is sounding pretty good right about now 😂😂

😂😂 You're not wrong! 3-4 breakfast frittata plates sounds better than spending $54 on Chef Mickey's!

Totally agree! Totally think that Beaches and Cream has an opportunity to do something. It would be perfect there.

Every recipe I've ever used to make cheese danish uses cream cheese.

That's very validating! Thank you! Having one without cream cheese is very confusing.

I agree with you Bear, this is not high on my list. Poor Princess, a rotten breakfast.

In our thoughts about our next trip we talked about doing quick service, counter service and whatever the festival foods are. No sit downs. As time passes my wife has started rethinking sit downs. Only for sure is Ragland Road even though there isn't much for her. (Last two trips the closed for the day, the day of our ressies). She actually was contemplating Chef Micky's or Contempo. This made up my mind, Chef Mickey's is out. Boma is a definite. Again, a sit down, sort of.

@@PrincessandtheBear That was actually the one sit down that was supposed to be and probably will be.

Shame that there aren't many vegan options! Surely breakfast would be easy to make several vegan items.

I'm staying at Disney Ambassador hotel in Sep. I've tried to make a reservation for breakfast at Chef Mickey, but there is no option for breakfast on online reservation privileges. (Only options for Lunch & Dinner). How can I make a reservation for breakfast in advance. Can I make a reservation after hotel check-in and just have breakfast? (Without making a reservation in advance). Please let me know. THANK YOU

Hello, advanced dining reservations are highly recommended and can be booked up to 60 days in advance. Chef Mickey's books very fast so make sure you are online before 6am EST (when the reservations open up) 60-61 days before you want to go. September isn't open yet.

I feel like universal does a better job with allergy labels. Vegan Breakfast is the hardest meal at Disney, and then the price tag for this meal might be tough to swallow

The few sit down breakfast we've done at Universal hasn't been amazing but the quick service is so good. Couple of croissants and you're good to go.
