Very stupid and wasting manpower and resources bus route. But this is what LTA wants. It says will extend to hougang AVE 3 but to which side towards amk or towards eunos? If towards amk then it is a waste of time as they have kovan and hougang mrt stations under northeast line. But if towards eunos then it is a different story. Or most likely case will be after hougang ave 3 make a right turn to tampines road then turn right to defu industrial estate then to hougang ave 3 then bartley road then the normal existing route.
My guess is that it’s probably towards Hougang. Currently this service starts and ends at Hougang Bus Depot which is north of the Bartley Road intersection. There is currently no direct way to get from the northern leg of Hougang Avenue 3 to the Bartley MRT station.
so things to note: Currently, 146 links Woodleigh and Bartley MRT tot he new estate. It is the only service that turns from Upp S'goon Rd to Bartley Rd in the way shown in the video. The future BTO projects along Hougang South and Kovan alongside Hougang Ave 1 extension are likely targets for 146 to extend. After all, it would be beneficial for a bus service to serve the extended Hougang Ave 1 with more catchment than the main part Ave 3 near Defu. There is an abandoned stop outside a Kovan BTO project, and could likely be the looping point of 146. This means that 115 will be untouched.
@@xianyao25146 is likely related to the Hougang Citrine, Hougang Olive and Tanjong Tree Residences. Given that those blocks (Blks 174 to 182) are closer to the extended Hougang Ave 1, 146 is intended to serve there. Essentially 146 is meant to ferry Hougang South and Woodleigh to their respective MRTs
That was fast recording and editing, all within 2 hours! 😮I have yet to record it too!
woah, fast and amazing as always

How long did the full trip take

I Need To Record 146A!
146A may unlikely be introduced for now as developments at Bidadari or Hougang (as what they willing) aren't up yet
Is this the new bus?
Is the fleet only MAN A22 E6?
Seems like it when I was there in the morning. 3 MAN A22 Euro 6s involved
@@transitevolution That is why COVID had to cut a lot of buses in the meantime but after that, they are buying only electric buses.
if I’m correct, it’s 4 man a22 e6,1 citaro and 1 kub
the T slot for 146 on debut day had cit
no KUB

But later the lta will say the parallel from hougang mrt station to woodlegh mrt station. Cut northeast line revenue then withdrawn.
