In light of the perpetual onslaught of new fossils uncovered and a lack of evidence of a Garden of Eden or cental point of origin for mankind (not the flood, lots of evidence for that), how do you keep faith that the creation even was literal and not figurative?

Well, a lack of evidence for the Garden of Eden is easily explained by the Flood, which complete reshaped the face of the earth. I don't believe anything looked the same after the flood, finding the Garden or remains of it would probably be impossible. As for the central point of origin for mankind, I do believe there is much evidence, I would recommend a great booked titled Traced, by Nathaniel T. Jeanson. The research in this book is next level, and very page turning. Yet at the end of the day, we must take God at his word, and in the Bible we read that God created a literal Adam and Eve. That's proof enough for me. Thanks for the great questions!
