പാലക്കാട് ഫോറസ്റ്റ് ഡിവിഷന്റെ കീഴിലുള്ള ഒറ്റപ്പാലം ഫോറസ്റ്റ് റേഞ്ചിലാണ് അനങ്ങൻമല സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. പാലക്കാട് നിന്ന് 45 കിലോമീറ്ററും ഒറ്റപ്പാലത്ത് നിന്ന് 15 കിലോമീറ്ററും അകലെയാണ് ഈ സ്ഥലം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്, മലയുടെ ആകെ വിസ്തൃതി 2500 ഏക്കറാണ്, ഈ പ്രദേശം മുഴുവൻ വനം വകുപ്പിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിലാണ്. സമൃദ്ധമായ പച്ചപ്പ് നിറഞ്ഞ കാടുകളിൽ വൈവിധ്യമാർന്ന വന്യജീവികളും സസ്യങ്ങളും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നു. സാധാരണ സസ്യങ്ങൾക്കും വന്യജീവികൾക്കും ഇടയിൽ എല്ലാവർക്കും ഔഷധ സസ്യങ്ങളും കാണാൻ കഴിയും. കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രശസ്ത നദികളിലൊന്നായ ഭാരതപ്പുഴ ഈ പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ ആകർഷണമാണ്. മനോഹരമായ ഭൂപ്രകൃതി, പാറ താഴ്‌വരകൾ, കണ്ണഞ്ചിപ്പിക്കുന്ന മനോഹരമായ കാഴ്ചകൾ, മനോഹരമായ അന്തരീക്ഷം, താഴ്‌വരയിലെ കാറ്റ് എന്നിവ സഞ്ചാരികൾക്ക് മുമ്പൊരിക്കലും അനുഭവിക്കാത്ത അനുഭവമായിരിക്കും.

Ananganmala is situated in Ottapalam forest range under palakkad forest division.This spot is located 45 km from palakkad and 15km away from ottapalam and total extent of the hill area is 2500 acres and the whole area is under the control of forest department . The wide range lush green forest occupies varieties of wild life and plants.Among the usual plants and wild life everyone can also spot medicinal plants . Bharathapuzha, one of the famous rivers in Kerala , is an attraction of this area.Beautiful landscape, rock valleys, the eye catching picturesque views , the pleasant atmosphere and valley breeze will be a never before experience to the tourist
