SCV was my first Soul Calibur, despite being the black sheep of the series i still love it to death

I'm wish Sophita, Cassandra, Taki, Xianghua, Seong-Mina, Talim, Setsuka, Zasalamel, & Hwang are in Soul Calibur V.
But all of them are in VI. You should try this game.
Sophitia, Cassandra, Seong Mi-Na are probably dead in 5.
They couldn't be for timeline reasons
Interesting Fact: Viola is heavily implied to actually be Amy from Soul Calibur 4 hence why she isn’t in the game

I Don't know why everyone knocks on this game and gives this game so much hate I really enjoyed this game and is one of my favorites you just have to learn how to adapt and get used to new characters.

I like it when they do new generation games too but problem is half of the new characters in the game just seem like really one note knock offs of the old ones
your argument is invalid when even the developers aknowledged the game being butchered due to crunching and rushing development under very short deadlines.
the story mode is a joke, very few fighting modes, unappealing new characters replacing old classic belobed ones

Soulcalibur 5 has good stage variety. And really cool unlockable characters. The combat is nice and fast (it's the groundwork for 6 and you can really tell.) I think that some character designs even trump that of 6.
I clearly know this is the tekken 5 game engine, like some of the animations is from tekken

How to unlock the characters in Soul Calibur V
1. Dampierre - A purchasable DLC character on the PlayStation Store that you cannot buy anymore because the PS Store was shut down
2. Alpha Patroklos - Complete Episode 12 of Story Mode or reach player level 15
3. Elysium - Complete the entire Story Mode or reach player level 27
4. Edge Master - Complete Episode 16 of Story Mode or reach player level 19
5. Algol - Defeat him on Legendary Souls, Quick Battle or Arcade Mode for the first time or reach player level 31
6. Kilik - Defeat him on Legendary Souls or Arcade Mode for the first time or reach player level 9
7. Pyrrha Omega - Complete Episode 19 of Story Mode or reach player level 23
Dampierre is in Sc Broken Destiny as a Playable Character
It's ok if devil jin is there because Tekken is Namco too

In SCV, Sophitia is dead and Cassandra is lost in the Astral Chaos, but dont worry, SCV is not canon anymore
I played 4 and 6. Didn’t play this and tbh I’m sad. The character roster in this is just better than the 6th one. Sad that they kind downgraded from 5
Wdym??? Fan favorites and icons of Soulcalibur return to 6 to make a very good roster, meanwhile 5 lacked many characters that even made it Soulcalibur and the two main characters to come from Sophitia are horribly written which is a waste of the actual design of the characters, it's not an entirely bad roster but it's not beating 6.

Theres a different method for most of them. What specific ones do you want to unlock?

@@spacewargamer4181 ok. Well you can get elysium, edge master, alpha patrokolos and pyrrha omega all from completing the main story.
You can unlock kilik by beating the Asia arcade route on any difficulty (he is incredibly difficult nonetheless.)
Algol is unlocked by (and take notes here)
>reaching level 17 (that's when I unlicked him)
>going to quick battle
>adjusting the fight preferences to Europe, intermediate
>getting a 3 win streak (cant fight him with any more or less.)
>finding the character named "termanos"
>beating him.
Alternatively if you do find any of the other characters you can unlock in quick battle you can unlock them by beating them there.

No es Devil Jin como tal ya que el personaje no esta en el juego, pero si su estilo de lucha para ponerselo a los avatares, por eso el avatar que se parece a Devil Jin no tiene su peinado caracteristico
