Fixing My "Industrial" Air Regulator from Harbor Freight

I've had more of these "Industrial" regulators from Harbor Freight than I'd like to admit. Every one of them has had the same problem so in this video I'll show you how I repaired it. It's easier for me to replace it with the same style regulator every time because I don't have to reconfigure my air fittings and hoses.

We got one of these many years ago to replace a broken Sharpe 880A (top physically got broken on the Sharpe), and the Harbor Freight unit blew like this almost immediately. Decided to just take it back for a refund. Wonder if the Merlin one they sell now is any different other than looks (it looks slightly different than these older ones, dare I say better looking, but that doesn't mean it is any better).

Thank you! I was thinking of picking one up tomorrow, but now I see how cheap it is made. So much for buying local as nothing any better is nearby. So I ordered something similar to what you did through Amazon. You save me wasting $100.
