i remember getting the tower of time expansion in swap force and loving it so much, seeing this made me scour through my skylanders box and realised i still had it, which was awesome :)
True I like the Time stop gimmick but Cap'n Cluck was a bit easy without the Spellpunks

Again, creative video, and I can really recommend the Sky Trophy and the Sea Trophy. I liked the tracks there, and it was a nice ending to your NFC Cards video.
For me the Sky Trophy is the worst of the three but I don't enjoy the sky racing as much

Not sure what happened with your Swap Force Sheep Wreck Island level, but you should also point out that it also unlocks four (4) awesome "Vortex" Survival Arenas. Since I replay the Arenas (in Nightmare !) far more often than I replay the levels, I totally consider Sheep Wreck Island to be a "must have" !
Good point, the Sheep Wreck Island arenas are some of my favorites and it's something that nobody really talks about.

i did enjoy this video but i feel like you should clarify that it's skylanders in the title and maybe name it like "Are Skylanders Adventure Packs Worth Buying?" because i grew up with skylanders and didn't know what it meant so i doubt people who don't know about skylanders will be drawn in enough to click the video. anyway, solid video, it was fast paced and the nintendo music helps a lot.

I have all the other trophy figures for SuperChargers EXCEPT the Land trophy (Count Moneybone) the most expensive of all... about a $40 figure on the cheaper end... I cant seem to find a good deal on it so far... and the listings that want it for $35 usually have $5 shipping added to it...

Loving these videos, have you considered doing a tier list for special skylanders? Swappers, trap teams, imaginator classes?
Maybe, but I'd do them individual (so one video for swappers etc.)

You need one card for each half (so top and bottom) and that's how you can do different combinations. I would recommend just buying swappers cuz 90% of them are under $10 and it's much more fun to swap them around!@@PhantomNugget

For me, the only adventure packs that were worth getting, at least at the time, were the Dark and Light expansion packs, also known as Sun Scraper Spire and Midnight Museum respectively. These packs came with Knightlight and Nightmare respectively as well as a dark and light trap in each. While they’re expensive now, I actually lucked and found the dark expansion pack at a Target and the light expansion pack at my local gamestop. Keep in mind that this was around early 2015, so Trapteam was still in circulation, which means I got both of these packs at retail price along with the light and dark traps and trapmasters respectively. I’m still glad I got these when I did especially since the only adventure pack I still need for Trapteam is Nightmare Express.
tbh I feel like those Adventure packs are the worse ones out of trap tram but I would say just about all of them are worth it since it's more Skylanders content at the end of the day
@@theSkylandeer Fair enough, I ended up getting them at the time mostly for the light and dark content, I had no idea that I could get Knightlight and Nightmare separately but I'm still glad I got the light and dark expansion packs when I did. Plus, apparently the traps from the expansion packs are now really expensive so I'm glad I got them when I did.
I’m lucky back in 2016, I made sure to pick up all the adventure packs. It’s a shame activision produced so few imaginators figures.

yeah, I said 3 but actually now I think of it there's 4. crash and cortex can unlock thumpin wumpa islands and then there's wildstorm and robow

I think I like nightmare express because it feels a lot like an indiana jones movie 😂 but the mirror of mystery is definitely a more unique/creative concept!

Light: yes it’s cool and cool villain
Dark: meh. It’s good
Mirror: so so
Nightmare express: it’s meh. Decent.

@@theSkylandeer I didn’t mean it that way. They all influence the game well it’s just. Besides introducing light and dark and playing nightmare express. The rest are kinda mid.
Yeah I think the light/dark ones were pretty mid and shoehorned into the game but I think the other two are kinda creative and definitely above average.@@YourDM64
@@theSkylandeer that’s fair. At the end of the day trap team is my favorite sky landers game and gives me massive nostalgia and their all fun in their all way. But I love luminous.
I have all but the last 2. My parents ran out of money when imaginators came out
that's still pretty lucky
They were very proud of all the Skylanders they were able to get me which included a few very rare ones including all of the sidekick/minis and some chase variants and I cherish every single one of them. They also played the game and bought the 3ds games for themselves so it wasn't just a let's dump money into our kid situation it was a let's dump money into a shared hobby sort of thing.
that's so awesome, I wish I wasn't the only person in my family who played it
