A couple of notes:
First of all, Phil doesn't live in a Condo anymore, it appears he purchased a two-story home in Seattle.
Second, a few of his friends approached Machinima looking to get him partnered; they didn't seek him out.
Third, he deleted the videos which lost him his viewership, not just setting them to private.
Fourth, people alleging to be a part of Laveria Media approached the Sons of Kojima and stated that when they learned of Phillip's reputation, they ordered Pultavi to pull out of the contract.
Fifth, the first D in "DDos" stands for Distributed, not Dedicated, as I had stated.
I left out a lot of incriminating notes about Phillip's history for the sake of brevity.
My favorite brand of internet tale is "A severely mediocre man has the crushing realization that he is mediocre but refuses to better himself".

CZcams really was a magnet for this sort of thing, it’s really funny seeing them all being subsidised by this shitty platform and completely eating shit when actual competition shows up.

I interpreted that as Fredrik trying to reassure the viewer that Leanna was indeed legally an adult woman when she started dating Phil and that Phil wasn't a statutory rapist.

Phil actually reacted to this, and for most of the video it was him pausing and calling your facts wrong and saying what actually happened. Now if he was a sane normal person I’d believe him because not everyone is in every second of his daily life and drama, but he lies, manipulates, begs. Etc.
That's the way he always debunks stuff. He'll say why the "facts" are wrong and then say his side without any proof.
Heck was on an interview last week and was supposed to "debunK" these myths about his racist humor and other crap but he had no proof. When the subject of his bank statements came up the best he could muster as a counter is "How could I be spending over 100 dollars at a pet store?"
Funny enough a few days later he started to crap on the show that interviewed him calling them unprofessional, misinformed, only believed the detractors and then low key made a threat saying he has dirt on the 2 people that interviewed them that could land them in legal trouble. Just goes to show how much of a coward he is when he's not in his own echo chamber.

You urgently need to make an update video on this man. He uses all his fans' donations to pay for gacha games shown from bank leaks. Like, 1000s of dollars dropped on the regular, often daily. He's a gambler and actively denies any of it despite the blatant evidence. He pretends to be oblivious to it and defiantly scares all his remaining fans off one by one.
Edit: and I should mention it's a mystery whether or not his current wife is aware of his habits. He also has very absurd habits of impulsively lying over the most insignificant and miniscule of things, and rages and bans people when they point out when he's lying or wrong. There's endless moments of him abusing his fanbase archived on CZcams to witness for yourself. And every single stream these days, he throws a fit and guilt trips his audience when he doesn't receive any donations for 30-60 minutes. He literally keeps track of time. He definitely acts poorer than he is. This needs to be brought to light so no one falls for his shit anymore.
To be fair the people who legitimately fall for his shit are likely to waste their time and money on something equally absurd. Most of his financial support comes from people who get personal gratification from being a part of the drama. For someone as manipulative as Phil he's about as opaque as a window. His current story isn't even interesting enough for another rabbit hole video imo, and this is coming from someone who follows him pretty closely while waiting for the next circus, I'm more than a little ashamed to admit.

I believe i will turn into this guy in 20 years or so, my life is just fucking confusing.
6 years on, Philip is now a middle-aged man and sadly this video is *still* relevant as his behaviour has not changed. Indeed, with a dwindling viewership on his own channel and allegedly heavily relying on tips and direct PayPal contributions he spends an inordinate amount of time begging for money either during play session or directly to camera with the routine excuses of not being able to meet this month's bills and/or being able to purchase new games.
As well as continuing to ban viewer that do in fact financially contribute, Philip has also taken to long-form rants about what he calls his "detractors" going so far as to call anyone that doesn't listen to him an "stupid brainless idiots" and dictates to his small fan base to only listen to him.
The "detractors" also take the form of a cottage industry of other CZcams creators that clip and monetise his content much to Philip's chagrin.
Many content creators who faded into obscurity were hit by some kind of bad decision or a tragedy in their personal life taking a toll on their content. DarkSydePhil is one of the few whose poor status and personal struggles are entirely to blame on himself without having broken any laws or getting into legal trouble (with the exception of the S.W.A.T. incident, but that wasn't his fault). He's not a criminal, he's not someone who cheated his way into finding fame, he's just a loser in every sense of the word with an unconsciously massive ego who refuses to learn and take responsibility for his poor behavior, which is all the more sad when you realize that with such a long-lasting career, he had every opportunity to save himself if by simply apologizing.

There are plenty of people who are successful youtubers who make a living off of youtube for years but it in Phil's case he was never making enough money to begin with and he was never earning anywhere near enough money to quit his day job, youtube should’ve just been a hobby until it he really started to blow up in popularity views. Anyone with half a brain could have seen that posting 20 videos a day and only getting a few hundred views with subpar commentary and quality that could NOT warrant any success.

I feel like this heavily needs a part 2, there's been so much crap in the past five years with DSP that you'd be surprised.
Between all the rants; denial; lies; impatience; and discussing private medical issues relating to his ex-gf online - his biggest problem was a complete lack of self awareness. He lives his life like he's an adult child who has rare moments of maturity.

Perfect example of his lack of self awareness is latest ultra street fighter two rant mid game. When fan asked "Could you be less of a sore loser?" when he kept losing to a blanca player (which he is so paranoid about that he believes it's same person stream sniping him and using "lag tactics") he went absolutely ballistic and started raging that one who said it.
When he was then called out that he can't improve he exploded again, stating once over again that he knows everything there is about SF2 and he achieved pro-level skill so he can't possibly improve and learning would make him bad. When he was called out this, he literally told that his viewers "Spout so much non-sense like your ass is your mouth".
Oh and when mods started apologize for behalf of Phil, he called them to stop acting stupid....and then told people to "relax" and stop being butthurt and grow a pair and complained how everyone needs to grow up. Search "Scrubmode street fighter 2" and enjoy the show.
I agree with you about the manchild comment. He should have grown and matured with his content. He should have realized he couldn't play video games on the internet for the rest of his life. He should have branched out when he was getting 100k views into an actual business- game reviews, movie reviews, blogs, etc and create a network which he could have his friends and creative people have their own shows on his network. I really hope we get a follow-up to this video eventually. In the time since it was uploaded, he broke up with PandaLee, got married to a new woman named Kat (who may or may not have cheated on another man with DSP), filed for bankruptcy, was exposed for spending $40,000+ on a WWE mobile gacha game, said the N-word on stream multiple times, personally called out multiple popular detractors -- including Tevin and Secret Limited, the latter of whom he said "should not exist" -- and, of course, lost his Twitch partnership for violating their hateful slurs policy, something he still denies to this day despite all the evidence presented to him.
He's back on CZcams, and he's attempting to rebuild his dead channel. But, of course, he does no editing (including his disgusting snorts and burps as always), and he doesn't even do his own thumbnails! So, it's not going too well. It seems as if every new stream is the one with the lowest support of the year, and his subscriber count is essentially stuck in place. He still does his almost daily beg tweets when support is low, and he frequently engages in callouts on twitter (my personal favorite being him commenting on a completely unrelated GameAwards tweet demanding to know why his Twitch partnership was revoked, many months after he had left Twitch and turned to insulting everything about it).
Just three days ago he defended himself saying the T-slur (the one for trans people) live on stream, so he certainly hasn't learned his lesson.
Edit: I'd also like to add that cataloguing and recording information surrounding Phil is very difficult, as he practices revisionist history (which may be why there has not been a sequel to this DTRH yet). Just recently, DSP has begun doing reaction content, including to this very video! In his commentary on it, he spent 5 hours denying things or overexplaining himself to the extent that he talked circles about lies no one had even heard of before! It's all a mess, but I do hope another DTRH will come out about him one day, if only to help clarify some confusing information about DSP that has resulted from his lies and retconning.

HiIm Werer DSP played the game on easy, however he was pretty much struggling through the whole game for a few months. Despite the fact that he sucked a lot, there was light at the end of the tunnel when he made it near the end game.

He was getting nuked off the face of the earth and couldn't do much to the boss to begin with, however the worst part was when the boss would use Night Queen and charm Aigis, who was his major support charater. Because of this, the boss ended up charming her to give him a full heal twice.
