- This video is all about how I completed Punisher Part 4 as a solo. This quest has been changed this wipe, and is now on Lighthouse. I despise this map, so being forced to kill PMC's here was very annoying and a real struggle for me.

This map is pure torture. I just got done with P4 and all of other Lighthouse quests, only to get hit with the "Virtex has the best chance to spawn on Lighthouse" about 64 deaths deep in trying to find these things.
Yeah I am not a fan of this map... I've done most of the quests and I aint going back until I decide to do shooter born In heaven
Try Reserve, it can also spawn here
Not sure if you got the virtex yet but they're all over reserve
its really easy map you should try to drill it with scavs u find tons of virtex and vex even btc. for pmc better to play safe depending on ur spawns
Not only that, but imagine having finished this task and having to look for the COFDM for Lightkeeper and come across all those semi-auto-ultra-geared pmcs camping chalets
I am not going for lightkeeper... don't know if that will ever be a thing for me 🤣 I like just getting max traders and then pvping people

Using a shotgun on lighthouse felt almost as bad as killing the pmcs
Yeah, my strategy worked alright but boy I hate this map
They should’ve made it a pistol, it’s stupid we already have a long ass shotgun quest called Setup
i'm having a hard time doing this quest. so far i got 3 PMC kills out of 10 using a bolt action rifle since i'm also doing Shooter Born in heaven at the same time. yeah this quest is so Brutal since the spawns can royally screw you over in lighthouse.
Yeah its my most hated map by far... was so glad to get it over with. I just tried to pvp near the houses up top and eventually after bashing my head at it I completed it
Mad respect playing as a solo. My anxiety just blows up when I run solo

dude, hardest thing I've had to do in any game ever, I think I didn't get a single pmc kill in 30 runs straight before I finally figured out how people were killing me instantly
Yeah this quest is a nightmare... I wish they didn't change it from shoreline cause at least health resort you can kill people easier
Personally I'd post up around the rogue camps and try to 3rd party some fights. Having their attention distracted by the rogues might make the pmc kills easier.

9:30 All shotguns are sighted funny. Slugs in the 12ga, especially Ap-20, always hit high...obnoxiously so. If you use the monstrum 2x at 50m, if you want a headshot you have to aim for the sternum. Drove me insane on setup and punisher 4, did 4-5 offline scav murder sprees to get the ranging down out of frustration. Surprisingly, Bravo 3X is on point, maybe because of height over bore?
Interesting, useful advice that's for pointing this out. I'll keep it in mind for next time when I have these quests
@@MaskedFPS I think it was Gigabeef who did some testing and determined that shotguns are zeroed for 100 or 200? and you can't adjust that. for shot, it means you naturally lift shots towards the head when you aim for center mass. but it's annoying for trying to "snipe" with slugs.

Im starting punisher part one tonight with a goal of doing punisher part 6 all in one night for the secure case
All Punisher in one night... good luck dude. Punisher Part 4 gets you stuck a little 😅
Dont go in that house, if a PMC hears you coming down the rock trail you are stuck in there. Only one way in one way out. Go across the street so the fence and other house can give you more cover.
There are spawns close to that house, so when I get that spawn thats when I go in there and it worked for me alright. Thanks for commenting

Im lv 20 and just started p1 im not looking forward to play lighthouse any time soon 😂 its a hell and the spawns suck especially if you dont know the pawns in my case

This wipe i took longer getting the shotgun kills than player kills for some reason i got a bunch of really lucky 2-3 man wipes
Lucky you, using the strat I mentioned at the start the shotgun kills I finished in 2 raids (majority of them in one raid sitting at that window for 30mins)
tbh in 4 raid it was done with shooter born in heaven just buy a FLIR and the quest is easy long range + a CQB build
I havent used thermals too much actually. Might be a great idea
really odd but honestly dying like 40 times on lh it’s made it kinda enjoyable unless you spawn anywhere on coast that’s instant trash

I notice you have a habit of circle strafing while spraying at your enemy. Even when you have the drop on them you start moving around while shooting.
While that can work sometimes it throws your aim way off.
Try to force yourself to sit still and put some shots in on an unaware player. Then if youre in an exposed spot, pull back. If youre concealed, keep firing until they die.
And if youre pushing, circle strafe in and out to find where they are, then peek from a different angle and shoot a bit while stationary.
Should help you land those shots. Cheers
I have noticed this myself too, the circle strafing whilst spraying. I think it's good when they are also shooting me back but not necessary If I'm shooting them. Might help them miss their shots if I'm a moving target, who knows.
I’m probably on 25 raids and 9/10 on pmc kills

the map is just in such a bad state. the frames can just randomly drop out of nowhere, thermals in bushes, chalet is pretty much a juicer field and player scavs spawn in waaay too sun. plus there isnt really much to do if you spawn all the way in the south of the map

Lighthouse is def the worst map in tarkov. I only come to lighthouse for quests otherwise avoid it like the plague.

@@MaskedFPS 12 days later and i still have 2/10 PMC kills either i dont see a single PMC or i get 1 tap from across the map. TBH i think they did this on the worst map to push more sales. why do one of the worst quests in the game when you could just skip epsilon and buy gamma. Next wipe it will be 10 PMC kills on labs at over 600 meters

As I responded to your other comment, trying to work with what equipment I have until I upgrade and I do my best to avoid the loud parts. The mic isn't close to my mouth It just isn't the best quality mic
