  • The Woom OFF is well-positioned as a high-quality kids mountain bike that won't break the bank. Like all Woom bikes, it's incredibly lightweight, comes with well-designed child-specific geometry, and includes top-shelf components.

    Our son has the woom 3 but has outgrown it. We aren’t mountain bikers but I would like him to have a bike he can use for many things. What are your thoughts on the handle bar positioning and difference ? Meaning the regular being more upright and the Off being more forward.

      Sorry for the slow response; I didn't see your comment until now!...I'm a huge fan of the upright geometry of the smaller sized Woom bikes, but for many kids by the time they get to a 20" bike they are ready for a more aggressive riding position....I also think it is largely dependent on the child. If your kiddo is athletic and likes to ride fast, etc, they will benefit from a more aggressive position. If your child is still learning to ride or is more timid in general, then a more upright position is better......The only thing I'd keep in mind for you is that if your family is riding on pavement more often than dirt, the higher volume tires on the Woom OFF could be overkill.

    Can the head tube accept a suspension fork or is the rigid fork a fixed/integrated fork? Thanks!

      @Rascalrides  Před 4 lety

      Good question. I should have mentioned that in the review. It is not integrated, so you could absolutely add a suspension fork.

    What 24 inch mtb with front suspension do you use?

      @Rascalrides  Před 4 lety

      The Trailcraft Pineridge 24 is probably my fave 24" front suspension / hardtail mtb. My son is still on the 20" Blue Sky model.

      @@Rascalrides thank you for answer. I would love to buy that bike, but it is not available in EU. And private impprt to here would give filal price around 4000$... from bikes available in EU - do you know anything comparable to Trailcraft?

      @@TheHiltas - yup, there are lots of good options in the EU. Check out the Propain Yuma, Cube Stereo, Early Rider Trail 24.....to name a few. How old is your son?? Or age of child able to use this woom off air??

    • @Rascalrides
      @Rascalrides  Před 4 lety

      Hi Jan, It really depends more on height than on age. But , in general, a 5 or 6 year old will fit will on a 20" bike. Our son is 7 in this video. Woom offers a great size chart on their website so you can measure the kiddo before buying.
