In this video, I'll be putting my Jeep Gladiator build to the test for the first time. After a month building and modifying my Jeep to be the ultimate off-road machine, it's time to see how it performs. @DirtLifestyle also came up to British Columbia to celebrate new years eve off-road with us!

Thanks for the invitation, buddy 🙌
It's always fun to hit the trails together
Absolutely! Great having you up here.
Gladiator wheelbase is too long for that trail. Nate: "hold my beer" extremely impressed.
All Hale Nate.... (see what I did there ;) )
@@findmeinariver I do see. Because I'm a fossil.
Very impressive nate
Fireworks, 4x4s, Pizza=Good times. Thanks for the fun trip.
Great to have you along, Kelly!
Nothing better after a 35 deg day here in Melbourne Australia to watch a great winter snow trip and seeing some amazing scenery from another part of the world.
Always enjoy your vids..
Hats off to that dude in the stock ram . Making it happen with you got I’m doing the same thing
Maybe I didn't look close enough but, I didn't know Uncle Si had a jeep!!
Awesome seeing you guys wheel together.
Thanks Will!
The epic background music is amazing, it feels like some kind of heroic journey
Love the video as always. It's great to see an offroad trailer seeing some actual wheeling. Excellent drivers. Wish I was close enough to join up one day, but it's a long drive from North Carolina
It was nice to see you guys together
Happy New year!
Health and lot more !
Super stoked on the upgrades! Excited for more 426/40/Ultimate 60s adventures. I think dual cases would be an awesome next mod.
Said it once, twice, and about 15 different times on your comments. Dude YOU are epic with your videos. Such a motivator. As stated before I'm doing my channel jeepNdirt for fun and enjoy just learning how to capture B roll and put it all together but I've gained such an appreciation for the work you do in putting your stuff together. I've been lucky to have friends help with different angles, and having great lighting when shooting my drone shots but when I see work like this it just puts it all into perspective on how challenging it really is. Great work brother.. Also this is the first time I've seen Nate's completed trailer and the gladiator build, wow really nice.
Thank you so much, man. I really appreciate it.
@@TheStoryTillNow You're deserving of all the compliments you get brother. I have a saying, "whether I inspire or help 1 person or many, if I at least help one, then in God's eyes I've served"
I recall your video in the US where that highway patrol in Cali saw you guys and stopped to say hi and share his story about how you inspired him when he was laying in a hospital bed watching your channel.
That was touching and a testament to the great work You're doing and it's why I always say God bless you.
You, Casey,Nate, and Brad are respected and admired by me and many others for good content without alot of drama, foul language and all the other stuff that takes place on some channels and social media. Again, great stuff and God Bless.
Great videography of this trail and adventure. Love the capture of the wheelin' parts and the lifestyle parts too. Great edit!
Happy New Year, and thanks for sharing the story. Your new Gladiator turned out very nicely! Super impressed with Nate's trailer making it down and back up that side trail.
Happy new year!
What better way to start a new year with an adventure on awesome machines, with amazing friends in absolutely beautiful location. Living the life! An inspiration to all. Thanks Shaun.
Happy new year!
I love how the toyota went up with no problem on the first icy spot =)
Great vid, this is the kind of offroad stuff I love to watch.
awesome trail! I like watching Nate do his thing as well. so cool you guys hang out.
Always a good time when we get together. 🤘🏻
So impressed by the performance of this beast
That is one of the best uses of patreon, thank you! I appreciate you taking patreon members out for a meet up, and is the best advertisement I’ve seen for patreon. I get frustrated when other channels I previously enjoyed nag their viewers to sign up. Thank you, and happy trails!
Very nice video. Just bought my first Jeep- off-reading seems exciting, but I trust one needs to go with people who can show us the ropes to get the experience 👍
19:33 reminds me of a funny story: I was a commercial fisherman and we were on the W coast of AK, somewhere off Craig I think one year. In literally nowhere, we decided to shoot off some fireworks one night. Didn't think anything about it but fun. About 30 mins later another boat comes flying up. Skipper asks if we are in distress, he had seen our flares (roman candles). We said no, and he proceeded to give us the best cussing I have ever endured. He was totally in the right. It was still fun though...
Great video. Your rig is working great. Happy New Year!!
I'm getting all my friends and everyone I know subscribed to your channel brother. You deserve much more.
The Gladiator definitely has a nice rumble to it👍
Nice run!
Cool trail!! Can’t wait to see V2 of the gladiator!
Hi Shaun, you’re the best.
Un saluto from me and my Jimny 🇮🇹
We love our all in one 5k Chinese diesel heater for our GFC V2 (#1919) works so well!
We also love making pizza but we use a Coleman collapsible oven on our Coleman stove. Works so well and great for heating up left overs.
Happy New Year 2023
Mark (& Teresa) Maryland US
Fun way to spend New Years. Cool trip!
Love your trailer Nate and your off-road skills are great too!
Fantastic video actually learned a lot from this one
Just the sound of that 426 vroom vroom
Cool group of people 😎
Keep up the great content and enjoy the life to the fullest
Going to attempt this in my Rubicon on 33’s with the boys this weekend. Let’s gooo!!
Unreal. Best off-road channel!
Wow, thanks!
Dude!! This was so fun to watch! Amazing work as always!! Cheers to 2023!!
Thanks! You too!
I pack an extra cheap bag to put under my sleeping bag for anything under freezing 🥶. Works great with a 20 degree bag. I have even slept down to the low teens that way. Was a little cold but worked.
Love to see someone using that Badlands wench out on the trails. So many people hate of them because they arent stupid expensive like the Warn but they work well!
@6:56 I swear the John Wick theme was about to play! Got excited haha
That beast sounds great! 🔥
Awesome video brother! Happy New Year!
Legendary once more man!
Once again Shaun an awesome video. sadly, I had to miss another live premier but watched it as soon as I got home.
No worries! Thanks for watching!
Another great video, happy new year!
Wow they did a great job on your motor swap with them 40s, let see next on your adventure. 🤙🎆
You guys are amazing! Those are places my Honda Civic will never be 😆
Another awesome video! I'll add another Taco to the mix one of these days. Happy New Year gang.
Great video, and love the scenary, music is dope as well
Such a badass spot this channel has brought back my off-road hunger❤got to buy me another rig soon
Do it!
Your new set up looks amazing!
Glad you think so!
Been snow wheeling most of my adult life, and always carry tire chains just in case of icy conditions. I live offroad and keep my truck chained most all winter.
Beautiful video! 👍🏻
The Destroyer is awesome ! Love how it looks. I run a diesel heater for cold nights, and just picked up a heated sleeping bag
Thanks! I had a heated sleeping bag before and I absolutely loved it. I started using it at home too lol.
Really enjoyed this Video and the time with your friends
Glad you enjoyed it
Favorite channel of 2022… and 2023 looks like it’s going to be the same… awesome videos like always brother!
Wow, thanks!
Thank you from KSA.
Winter camping I use a tipi style ground tent with a wood stove, cot, air mattress and -20c sleeping bag, it’s a bit of a set up but nothing beats a wood stove in the winter for comfort
Awesome!
Happy New Year Shawn!
I'd be remiss if I didn't take back my comment from 2022 about your culinary abilities, Pizza on the trail; well done :).
I've got the exact same rig as the ginger here in ontario, without the goodies. But what you did with that truck is unreal. There can't be that many people in the world taking their overlanding as far as you. proud you're from Canada!
Till the next story
Thanks Derek!
Sweet Descent
Awesome epik trail Beautiful 🤘👍
Another awesome wheeling video Shaun. This time I actually subscribed. Keep up the good work! 👍
Thanks for the sub!
Love to see it!
I really appreciate your content. I especially enjoy the videos where my cousin Jason joins you :)
Your videos are the best offroading on here. Everyone else seems like they’re posers but you really get it in I really enjoy watching these
I appreciate that!
@@TheStoryTillNow 100% I am a truck driver and I watch these after a long day of driving and I’m stuck at some random truck stop in the country. You’ve helped me with my depression and wanting to get myself back into jeeping and put myself out there to love nature again. I love every minute of what you got going on man.
I got a little excited over that JK Recon Edition.
When I winter camp... tip for staying warm. I have a great -10 sleeping bag, and I have a down throw over the top of my head. I can pull it around- puff it up to create an air space around my face and keep body heat in. Also keep in mind that a lot of the staying warm is staying dry. Have a dry set of clothes to put on before bed. Any dampness once it drops below freezing becomes a huge liability in staying warm. But The new deisel heaters would make that a mote point...lol!
You wanna know what I’m doing to stay warm on these winter nights?
Staying home and turning up the heat!!! 🤣
I live in Washington state and I usually get cold camping in the summer so I’m scared to camp in the winter. I’ll just live vicariously through all you guys for now hahaha
We will continue to be miserable for your entertainment sir. 👍🏻
Awesome time and video sir
Glad you enjoyed it
Another awesome video! You guys are nuts, I love it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
awesome video man! i learn so many tips and tricks off your Content. keep up the amazing work ! 🤟
Awesome! Thank you!
Honestly the secret I use for winter camping is a heated blanket (if you have power) between the sheets and the mattress pad, and a couple layers of blankets if you have space. Even powering the heated blanket for 15-30 minutes before bed means you've got a bed that's warm *as soon as you get in*, and from there with the right blankets it's easy to keep warm from there.
Using a heated blanket means I don't have to worry about a custom heated mattress or anything, and with adjustability the one I have cycles on in 120 watt bursts. Works like a charm.
Another awesome trip.
Great channel mate, love the adventures! The Canadian landscape looks like great fun. Gotta say, your original logo was better, everyone is doing the tactical look, yours was adventure and fun looking!
Incredible what he accomplished with a whole trailer attached to his truck lol. What a legend.
I've been keeping warm with a good fire, a walmart sleeping bag, and if I wake up to my feet freezing I have a buddy heater to warm up real quick. I've only really needed it once this season and have been camping every weekend since I got the Gladiator in June. Maybe when I get it paid off I can build it out to be an awesome overlander like yours. One of these days!
Nice! Thanks for sharing!
Another great vid my friend, cheers~
Thank you!
Bad ass way to break in the new year.. new truck is pretty bad ass as well
Thank you!
Someone please get the Tacoma guy some sliders!!! Super ballsy, kudos!!!
Love your videos 💗 from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
And I really really like your car and your car is my dream
Happy New Year 🥂
Same to you!
When I camp in the cold I always bring furs. I have some sheep’s furs that keep me nice and toasty. Highly recommend.
It's great to see Kelly from KB Autotech and Adventure!!! I'm surprised he didn't take his 3rd Gen 4Runner lol
lol the stock Ram just flying over the inclining ice hill.
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
I Watch all Nate's stuff too !!
Looking good buddy! Shall we test it out snow wheeling?? 😁
WE SHALL! See you this weekend. :)
wow impressive!
Thank you for another Awesome video. I loved seeing the tacoma. I am curious what size tires was on it. I'm definitely going to support your channel. It's a channel that you can watch with your kids. And they might be learning something that is actually useful for life .
Thank you!
Hey wait a second.. Didn't I watch this from patreon a few days ago...... 6:49 you know a little farther up the road, there is an easier way down to the Lake 🤣🤣 Man I love the M - Valley.. So many diverse trails, for every Skill level
Happy New Year Shaun! 🎉 Another great video! TheTrailwrecker looks/ sounds awesome...have you thought about adding a " bull bar" to your front bumper? Like Nates... I just put one on my JL, And think they look great..... I just signed up on Instagram recently and Added you👍
Soon as my jeep is done I'm Comin !!! Not gonna be tomorrow BUT someday...
That track though and cinematography as always. Opposables upskis Shaun.
How I keep warm while winter camping: download TSTN episodes and watch while laying in the back of my Jeep. Keeps me all warm n cozy. And my dog. And not camping in temps below 30 degrees lol
Haha awesome!
You have to do an Arctic expedition...to Tuk...or come over East and drive some of the Labrador/Newfoundland...see some icebergs! You think those trails are bad...those Jeeps would find Montreal roads hard to deal with...the paved ones haha.
Sorry Nate. I missed you guys coming up to BC but I guess I'm not in with the right crowd.. I guess you have to pay for the privilege to wheel with you.. great video Shawn
Once again you , and the guys are awesome . I've had that maple syrup before , long time ago , but the maple capital of the world is Vermont , U.S.A , they have maple everything , candy , syrup , bacon , everything . You gotta go to Vermont , it would be awesome to see. I haven't been thier sense I was a kid , it would be nice to see again . If you go you gotta go by " The Old Man on the Mountain " he's broken , in half ,or his head fell of , or something and I'm sure a lot of people are very upset about it , but it's still surrounded by amazing , scenery , places.
Sounds like I gotta go to Vermont!
Ross lake??Happy New Year from the Sunshine Coast!
Love the content, I’ve been binge watching TSTN this weekend, just finished the Mack trail series, awesome! Keep up the great work!
Would my 98 TJ with 2” lift and 32’s make that trip? 4.0 w/manual, stock axles. Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question, I’m pretty new and have only done easy trails. I’d be interested in doing more, but wouldn’t want to be “the burden” lol.
18:14 I have down filled sleeping bag that is good for -20°C, but camping in the winter in the interior is not much fun when even your water bottle freezes as does all your food.
