I am going to try taking a tripod out sometime. I am clumsy with them, but stability would be worth it in video and photography.

Just threw out my Velbon tripod, 1980s style! Replaced it with a 3 legged thing, good tripod, folds to 40cm, weighs 1.8kg, which is a bit much for little me. Don’t think you mentioned how long, when folded, the K&F tripod was, Brian? Lost out on the Oly 12-100mm lens too. No stock. Am going to get a Lumix 14-140mm instead, purely because it’s lighter!

I bought the K&F alloy tripod a couple of years ago, and its pretty light, though not as light as the carbon fibre one. But, its a great tripod ! I might buy the travel tripod for going into the hills with, it seems a reasonable price.

Well done Brian. Nice demonstration. May pick this up for the summer

good demo, but at 4:16 or there abouts you use the PAN knob, not the teardrop shaped ball tension knob!!! and wiggle the ball head around, expecting it to be tight?

Looks like a nice tripod, I hope they have it over here in the states. Great video

Yes, they do, if you use my link in the description below the video you can get 10% discount of any of their range. My colleague Paul also uses one of their tripods, one of the travel ones where the legs fold back on themselves. Really good.

Am on the look out for a strong lightweight tripod . The weight of the bag n gear and the tripod i usually use is now begining to hurt my back . As am cycling about with 2 stone in weight of gear . I use every lense on occasion .

It may be worth looking at the C25 from K&F which my fried Paul uses its slightly lighter than this and 60” in height but folds much smaller. He seems really happy with it.

Hi, Mr Brian. Nice video. Any thoughts on K&F wrist straps... Maybe later a comparison for this tripod and the equivalent K&F alluminium

Brian, weight training is important for folks as you age…so keep that original tripod!

I got a loan of one of these while shooting aurora at the Giants Causeway in Co Antrim. I had forgotten my own aluminium one and was nervous about the lightness of it, in the windy conditions. Needn't have worried - the carbon fibre dampens vibration better than the aluminium. Practical over sturdy - you've convinced me. Thanks for the info .

Thank you for saving me so much time give was just about to start researching the tripod market to replace my very old and heavy Vebon. The K&F looks the ideal replacement. Just one question when taking a flight, do you carry on the tripod as hand luggage or store in your suitcase? Thanks for your excellent Video!.

Glad I could help. I put mine into my case as hold baggage with no problems. I usually take up my hand baggage limit with my cameras, batteries and lenses. They actually do a better travel one the C25 which is around 60} high but folds smaller, is lighter too and still has a detachable leg. My friend Paul uses one of them and loves it.

Brian -- normally I skip videos that are obviously just a product description (advert) -- but I do enjoy your videos, and I have seen your recent videos where you have stated that you do not just take items in order to get equipment and produce sponsored videos. So yes, I can see that you do appreciate the features and design of this tripod (KF do produce/sell a lot of well-designed and useful things). But I know of many of those features (from that model and similar), so your video was, how shall I say -- a bit boring. Sort of like a steaming mug of tea with no milk and sugar!!! I'm not sure if you could have done it differently for a sponsored video and review, *BUT* I would have much more enjoyed a 20-minute video of you out taking photos in some idyllic location -- and *using* this tripod, and describing the features here and there, as you used it -- but also sharing your photography adventure and resulting images. Could you possibly do that in the future when doing a product review? Cheers!
