The BMW Scarver looks okay. Great ride, as well. Roon: okay for what it was. Victory: I agree. Battletwin: again, okay if you like a fairing. C1: I agree. Moto 6.5: it looks okay [bulbous fairing. There isn't one]. Bimota: daring styling. Gilera: I agree. Johammer: Whoa! Those mirrors. R1200C: not ugly at all.
R1200C looks cool to me, I almost bought one
@@wazoo2 I had an R1100GS back then, and BMW gave me an R1200C as a service bike once. It was a great ride. I stopped at my local in northeast London, and people poured out to take a look. It grabbed much more attention than my GS did.
I don't understand all the hate on BMW R1200C, i like it, it's a good take on boring cruiser design

The Rune? Lol. One of the best designs ever created. I guess beauty is subjective. The Rune is a marvel. And no I don’t own one. I saw one last week at a bike meet. It looks like something an alien would ride to Earth.

The Scarver is actually a pretty good bike for city and commuting. That baggage thing where the tank is, is still alive in the Honda NC 750. It's also light and nimble and tall which is a godsend in traffic.

It’s amazing how they’re no Japanese motorcycles on this list except for the one. No surprise there. The Japanese are known for making beautiful exotic machines. People can’t take their eyes off them.
The content at visordown is so original. This is only the third time I’ve seen this exact content in the last couple months and with same bikes from BMW.

Had a Victory Vision and absolutely loved it.

1999-2006 Kawasaki Concours. That was beaten with an ugly stick. That could have taken the Honda Runes spot.

I had the impression that Victory motorcycles was shutdown because its parent company, Polaris, had acquired Indian Motorcycles and simply didn't want (or couldn't afford) to maintain two brands.
Exactly! A very obvious rebranding exercise, also used to dump some less successful stuff.

Any Vitpiln, Kantana, and BMW K1 are candidates that could be added. Of course the 1998 K1 is long but BMW should be recognized for it.

I disagree on the Aprilia, Gilera and Johammer. Different is not the same as ugly. I actually think the Gilera CX 125 was a work of genius. These are now actually very sought after so it seems I am not the only one. I do however admit the color of the example bike is a bad choice. If one however takes a look at the black version…..
To be fair there are probably more ugly looking bikes than nice ones. Especially for the last few years. It’s just transformers with stickers. I remember this bond bike was my dream after the film’s release - years later I was in shock I could have ever like it.

I'm disappointed not to see my motorcycle on this list. lol An early 2000s Katana 750. The thing looks like it was inspired by a lady shaver FFS. Batman headlights and bee ass looking tail light. WTF were the designers smoking? Fortunately, I got it REAL cheap and it's a decent overall motorcycle.
Funnily enough, we included the Katana in the original article but our opinion wasn't universally agreed with so it didn't make the cut for the video

No, I don't agree with you. Try pulling your visor up. At least there is some effort to do something new and interesting here - and to good effect with some of them (Yes, like that electric one with the sticky-outy horizontal fork and sprouting mirrors - amazing, not dull and actually fun - imagine that!). Look at the average motorcycle riders choice of helmet and helmet decals (!). There is so much bad and infantile taste that sells in the motorcycle world that success in a market like this is not an indication of design intelligence or any kind of educated eye. The truth is many bikes that sell in spades are (perhaps understandably) bland, compromised sludge that tick a mish-mash of superficial trend, practicality and other boxes and many people who buy them are more worried about not fitting in or being the odd one out at the pub than they are about design integrity or anything like it. Despite all the tired associations made between biking and rebellion, there's often more of a herd mentality when it comes to design and motorcycles. I'd rather have the odd duckling if it meant we'd get the odd swan. Er... yeah, some of these are a bit ugly though.😕

If this 10 motorcycles are ugliest of them all for you how did you get to that conclusion? Have you ever heard the ugly is the beautiful? However I think you never see or experience a real uglie motorcycle, but I will give you a point for well done explanation coments.

I totally agree with you %100 these are the ugliest motorcycles ever made especially the Victory and the BMW 1200 C if you see one they make you throw up interesting you didn't include the Suzuki Hyabussa but it is ugly for a very good reason to go faster many years ago there was a documentary on bonerville salt flats and there was a Suzuki Hyabussa setting a speed record with a 4 stage turbo geared up and it achived 285mph no nitros but that Buell was ugly and the Bimota is totally wierd what about the first Suzuki RE

R 1200 ST, HD 750
The Honda Rune should not be on this list. If look at closely, it's actually a work of art. The only failure about the Rune falls on Honda's bean counters. It costs Honda ten of thousands of dollars more to manufacture the Rune than what they sold it for. The Rune is now a collector's bike and worth more than what the owner paid for it. As for the Victory Vision, it has an Arlen Ness influence in that bike. Like it or leave it, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Hey, some people think the Nissan Juke is a masterpiece. The people must be Chinese because they think Hunter Biden is an artist.
