Very NICE work making the dust shield and caliper conversion work! The bolted mockup looks really slick and really brings out that premium feel and should fulfill all your needs with room to spare.
I don’t know what the Front/Rear braking ratios are for the various generations but if you’re rocken’ rear calipers as large as some import’s front calipers, it may turn out that tire choice rather than pads ends up being the limiting factor 😅.
People often don’t understand how much harder it is to do performance upgrades when you’re striving to also maintain a OEM elements.

G'day Mate, very true. Did you see my video on doing the matching Front Calipers. Cheers.

VERY NICE!!! I also love tinkering with my S14, and making all mods look OEM. That Z34 backing plate surgery came out OUTSTANDINGLY perfect!!! Love it!!!
I recently started the process of upgrading the rear Z32 setup to Akebono BBK, however after comparing the internal eBrake drums from Z32 vs Z34 I found that the Z34 has a larger internal diameter of around 190mm, vs Z32 which is around 174mm. For that reason I would like to know how did you manage to make the Z34 drum work with with the stock Z32 eBrake shoes?
BTW, your channel rocks, with so much attention to details, showing your "over the top" craftsmanship!!!

i managed to just machine out a little half moon shape from the caliper back, and then use low profile hex head bolts. It made it look like a stock fit. Sadly can't add a photo in the comment!

G'day Grahame, thanks Mate, no, the Caliper Brackets are from Z1 unfortunately. Cheers.

For the rear brake does it use the stock rear e brake assembly

G'day Mate, yes, the internal drum is the same size as on the stock rotors. No changes at all needed.
