I named my son after Vigil, hes such a great dude with such powerful lyrics and stength of charachter. So glad they made it through that wreck and keep making amazing music.
Awesome interview. These guys are so inspiring. The lyrics and the feel of the band is exactly why I like them, the attitude of keep fighting. Love how the interviewer tried to lead him into a fight with the "toxic fans" but Vigil instead just stated how appreciative he is of the them, and how how much he values their support. Amazing!

Great interview. I love hearing Vigil dive into the record and hearing about the song meanings. I can echo him about blue and gold being a big favorite, really hoping to hear it on this spring US run.
Awesome chat! Vigil's and Chris Davis' streams on Twitch absolutely helped me get through the pandemic, was a fan of the band before then, but absolutely a fan of them all as people now too. So stoked to see them put out another awesome piece of work and can't wait to see them on tour with Parkway. Wrath is up there as my favourite so far, really enjoyed Cityscapes too
I've recently just started listening to these guys and they're such a breath of fresh air. They have such a distinct style. Going to see them live next Friday in Charlotte, super stoked. 🤙
This might be long winded
For starters, The Ghost Inside are fucking legends. Their message has kept me going so many times and they just killed it in Denver the other night. I’ve been around since Returners but loved Fury and the Fallen Ones. They always put out excellent albums. I can’t think of a song I don’t like.
Second, the metalcore “fans” that have problems with bands exploring their sound and having clean vocals or pretty aspects to the music are missing out on so much. Hearing a band challenge themselves and succeed is so cool. I remember when Stick to Your Guns covered Florence and the Machine and hearing Jesse sing that well was fucking awesome. Or the new ERRA album and how they’re progressing is some of the best music out there. This new TGI record is so fucking great.
I hope they keep doing what they want because it’s amazing and they deserve to do what makes them happy.
Miss me with the “only heavy stuff matters”. I love bands trying new things, it’s how music gets better.

I love Blue and Gold, a favorite for a couple different reasons. It’s a great song firstly, but it’s also a reference to his (and my) hometown high school colors! Fly the banner blue and gold 🤘🏻
My favorite song on the new record is definitely Breathless, feels like Aftermath 2.0 and I love it, incredible final track!
Late to the party but, seeing TGI at Unify 2020 (my first time seeing them live) after listening to them for a long time and knowing what they went through was such a special moment. Was definitely the highlight of the show for me

tbh i think if the ghost inside went fucken pop punk i wouldnt be upset i love the messages that tgi put out and ill always support that
