You are a master! You are pushing the market, boats have been stuck in design and materials for years. It is unbelievable how far you have come with your boat ideas and accomplishments in just a few years.
This was really well done! Blew my expectations out of the water! Nice BASS design! Super talented!!
Would love to see a video dedicated to routing / carving the turf, what routers, bits, material, full deep dive.
I have it somewhere. They're just flat bits. I'll do an update on video 2
Yes
Thanks for doing this project for us the fans. This pond prowler might be something I'd be able to do! Obviously you still have the drawing talent -keep up the great content!
Dude that was awesome, great art work
Thank you for doing this. I got the same boat and been trying to get ideas for a deck that looks good unlike my ply wood thrown on top. Perfect timing too because I’m about to redo it. When I get home from this hitch.
Check out the new vid! It's finished now.
Really cool build. Like the artistic rendered decoration. I taught Art for 30 years as a full-time educator.
Art class made me the person I am today!
Wow being a owner of a small plastic boat(PBR10E). I find this part 1 very very interesting to watch. Looking forward to watching part 2👍🏾
Man, Great job and a bunch of awesome builds. I have some questions for trying to set up my boat but until I get the money set aside; I won’t ask so that I can make sure I’m able to do what I get advise or instructions on. Keep up the good work.
Kick ass that is awesome man I just bought myself a 8' bass pro shop pond prowler it's pretty cool little pond hopper
That logo looks sick brother nice work
Mini Boat Nation... You can make anything look good. If all I wanted was a little pond hopper this would be it. (But I'll stick with my 14' aluminum Bass Ugly V-bottom). Can't wait to see the completed project.
Finally! Let's goooooo!!!! I want to replicate this for my bass raider 10enxt!
I'm so stoked for this man!
I wonder how well the Roy's shallow anchor would work on here and how you would alter things to fit the bass raider
That fish came out sick!
the custom drawings are awesome
Those little plastic boats are unbelievably stable. I take an 8 footer out out on a bigger lake(225,000 acres) with traffic and it does great. If you want to get out on the water cheap, one of these and a trolling motor with a battery can get you there.
When can we expect the second video? I have a sun dolphin outdoors man and I think I’ll be doing some major upgrades soon. Thank you for all the awesome videos!
Three thumbs up.....thanks for sharing your ideas and talent.
Love the boats and the videos
I appreciate it, because we were literally able to buy one at an estate sale for $40. Meanwhile, guy in neighborhood has a 1548 Alweld that he wants $2500, no trailer, no outboard, just bare. I can’t even find a 1236 flat bottom in a 100mi radius for under $800
That's a steel!
Wow you did an incredible job on that turf!
Appreciate it
That route was tinyboat greatness!!
if you put 2 8ft irrigation white pipes and mount them on the sides acting like 2 smaller pontoon's. It will be so stable that standing up will be no problem. From builds i have done in the past I realized the higher you are in the boat obviously the rocker it gets. it does make a little drag in the water but seeing that this is for your son it's something looking into that boat will not tip over
IT doesn't need it. It's a true 48" width. It's stable enough.
@@TinyBoatNation learn something new every day. Thanks for the info
You should do a Livingston boat for your next project
Got myself a pelican a few years ago. Like it but ready to modify. Cool stuff, too bad I don't know how to do any of those things...
how did u fasten the deck to the boat? i noticed some screws along the top edge. dont you think they will strip out or leak? i am doing a similar project on the same boat. was thinking of using well nuts to keep it from shifting. thanks for any input on how you did yours!
When you route the ortho deck, what router bit do you use around the hatches on the edges?
This is what I wanted :) :) I love this!
Glad it worked out!
Is it possible to add a center pontoon on my two man bass boat
How would you make a rudder for this boat? 🤙🤙🤙
That's what happens when you leave the plugs x 2 in when it's hot. Temp differences make it contract or expand like a balloon. I freaked the first time it happened to my boat.
Very nice!
loving the router details…a lot. any recommendations on tin boat ladder installs? afraid to rely on just the tin on the transom. i need a ladder bc the water is cold here, and i’m a clutz.
Currently in production as we speak
@@TinyBoatNation yes! should be a good one. 👍
I would really love to see you build a Lowe 1040 bass boat/skiff. I dig the small boats.
If I ever find one, I'll get on it!
could have bought a second boat for the cost of that sheet of plywood
😆
@@TinyBoatNation im only joking, loved the video thanks !!
I'm looking to buy a boat to make into a tiny boat. I'm a bigger guy what kind and size of boat would you recommend? Flat or v bottom and 14' or 16'?
Y’all should definitely do the Sun dolphin Jon boat
There is a wood sign carving channel that sell their own router bits. Perfect for details and clean cutting. Handmade is always better than cnc, bc well heart that's why
Cool, thanks for stepping out of your comfort zone.
You bet!
I used to have a 3.5 merc outboard on the back of my 8ft prowler alot of potential in these small boats
How fast?
@@TinyBoatNation couple miles per hour with 2 guys in in it fully loaded definately alot quickerer than say a 55lb thrust motor not crazy fast but i got around he lake river creek fairly easy wit it u can go up to 5hp if u wanted
cool build
Thanks!
I'm sad to say I love this content man 🤣.
Thanks!
Where do we see the rest of the build process?
It has its own official series on my channel
Badass!
Cool.
Can you please put this up against your yak killer and see the pros and cons of each
Sure thing
Honestly I don’t like that you have such disdain for these boats. A lot of people probably have disdain for you trying to turn cheap aluminum John boats into bass boats. I really don’t get why you would have a negative feeling towards these little boats. To each their own
I pushed through it. It's finished now! The results are shocking.
