    Magic.
Not the legendary Lakers point guard.
And not the franchise in Orlando.
    We’re talking about Luka Magic.
How did a 22 year old take over the NBA?
And how did a 22 year old get himself on the cover of NBA 2K22?
This is the story of Luka Doncic.
This documentary explores the early years of Luka Doncic's life, in Ljubljana - Slovenia, his move to Real Madrid and success in the EuroLeague; and of course his journey through the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks.
Thank you to Jason Terry for his guest appearance, sharing his insight into the young superstar's game, and comparing Luka Doncic to three hall-of-famers.

The court that they refurbished is where me and Luka met, he was shooting on the basket under the trees with grown-ups, while he was 12 and I was the only person shooting on the opposite basket, so he came up to me and asked if I trained basketball, which obviously wasn't the case, and if i'd mind playing with them. I'll never forget that day thinking this kid has an awesome personality and an out of this world behind the back move. His face stuck in my memory till he laced them up for Real Madrid, then I recognized the kid and found out his last name. Life is funny.

Luka didn't prove anyone wrong. all he proved was he was a diva and not willing to go to a franchise with a history of losing. thats why no one picked him before dallas. he basically told them to fuck off then tried to backtrack. poor pheonix hired his lame ass coach to try to sway him but i heard the owner thought he was a dick (takes one to know one sarver) and decided to pick ayton anyway. he's good but he's not even a consistent top 5 player. I like luka but i hate his idiot fans who know nothing about anything. he's not some underdog who everyone doubted he's a one dimensional diva.

Now I know. Thx for this. I do believe this kid will see many rings if he gets surrounded by the right people. Just pray he doesn't become just a stats builder. He deserves better than that. When that happens,i think that will be the moment to remember forever.Because that would put the seal on the one of the most accomplished career in basketball history. He had won everything in Europe. At club level,,,he even become European champion playing for his country... no one could predict that...just look from where, and when it all have begun...he was winning from when he was a child. The NBA championship would be the crown of it all.You must love this story. It is beautiful!

Luka has been arguably the most fun-to-watch along with Curry and Kyrie. There’s a good chance he could average a triple-double in a season shortly. Dončić has unbelievable vision and basketball IQ, not just for someone his age but for an NBA star in general. Add the clutch gene and the “it factor” on top of all this, and you have Luka Dončić. He could be the face of the NBA in just a few short years.

It is true Luka seems slower than most and not very athletic but the thing is that he almost always calculate every move and that makes him score or get an assist with what it seems be low effort. He doesn't need a lot of space to score, almost every time he has a defender on his face when shooting threes but that doesn't seem to affect him. When he starts getting double teamed he will get the assist or at least move the ball around to get the open guy. Very smart player and deadly accurate. Imagine being 19 and saying you had a triple-double in the NBA in your rookie season, what a beast.
