In order to find certain items in the early game without losing, value the space less and roll aggressively is a must strategy. Also, if you have more than 3 gold left with a pig in the shop, Always buy it. There is no loss for potential gold.
By the way, don't be afraid to sell fire for reroll. If an item is needed on specific rarity, sell fire to reroll until reaches 2 gold is an efficient way in the long run.
also, for wetstones you can lock the one you find first and reroll once, I've found that in early game it's easier to find wetstones that way
I don't know if it's true, but when you buy an item from the shop the next roll has less of a chance of that same item appearing again

Hopefully we're going to do some more livestreams with the new second monitor 😅 I'm glad I got to suggest doing the chili goobert to you because it ended up working so well. It would be a lot of fun to do a couple runs where you use chat to make builds, could do a click heat map or voting or something for what items to buy and when to reroll etc. It'll probably be a gong show but it could be a lot of fun!

better yet, you should strive to make a insta kill build, it's possible with the sun shields

Last game I had a Ranger as opponent with a hammer, 6 spectral blades, etc, I got destroyed in 3 seconds....
Pyro insane 400 heat and over 700 life regen. Sold my weapons at round 8 and won only healing my self
Hey sifd, did you know you can also get the sun shield in berserker? The anvil subclass generates flame and sun shield is not class locked

one of the build i can see countering this build would be a stunning dagger build with a few high level purple gem and blue gem.
Dagger builds get owned by shields though. They don't cost stamina, but their blocked hits still burn it. So what happens is it gets stuck attacking with daggers but unable to land a hammer hit and losing tempo because of this.
A classic never sell stone sifd angle when you were 1 gold off build items multiple rounds in a row lol
