- We went to Apple Hill near Placerville, CA, in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California! We were able to make it to four apple farms in the Apple Hill area this year. We ate a lot of apple things, tried a flight of hard apple ciders, enjoyed an apple beer, and had a lot of fun together!

We are from Virginia and our favorite spot is Carter Mountain. They have the BEST Apple donuts! Plus there’s a Bold Rock tap house that has their ciders. All of Bold Rock cider is made with apples from the Appalachian mountains. By far our favorite cider! We visit every year and over indulge on the donuts!

Thanks for saying hi! We live in Modesto, but we grew up in the bay area. Hope you get to enjoy Apple Hill! We’re gonna try to make it up there later this fall, but we probably won’t hit so many farms this time maybe one or two of our favorites. And we hear you regarding going during the week versus on the weekend 😅 It can get crazy busy!!
We're heading to Apple Hill on Monday. It's my first time. I'm taking my mom and 5 kids ages 3-12. Wish me luck!

That 3D art there reminded me of the Captain Mickey one that I experimented with. Now I need Captain Minnie 😅 We have a local one in So Cal and is in Oak Glen it quiet a drive but beautiful.

We’re headed to Gaver Farm in Maryland tomorrow for apples, apple cider donuts, and pumpkins. We also like Larriland Farm where they have great apple fritters!

@@AdventuresinMillerland We had fun and I learned I’m too old to participate in an outdoor Ninja course and slides built into silos and still be able to walk normally the next day.

It was so fun. We love both apple & pumpkin, but pumpkin is our fav in the fall.
One of the best farms for Apple picking and fall adventures in NE Ohio is Patterson's fruit farm. So fun!!!

We actually stopped in Placerville on our way to and from Tahoe just a couple weeks ago, but I didn't know about all these apple farms- that looks like fun and also really yummy. Those pies! 😋 I definitely want to check those places out now. We actually have a small apple tree in our backyard.
