- I forgot to mention, on Sundays most shops are closed, even groceries. And the traditional siesta means from about 2-5pm most shops are also closed - on a daily basis. Granada, Spain, is a gorgeous city full of history but also home to lots of young people and entertainment. It is a city where laughter echoes in the plazas at night and where during the day, the energy is contagious and the sun never stops shining. It’s small enough to get to know it quickly and meet people, but large enough to always have something to do. Also, If you are reading this description, please would you mind leaving a ‘🤗’ in the comments section so I know anyone is even reading these?
And of course, if you have any other questions whatsoever, don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments and I will be more than happy to answer!
Wishing you all a lovely week ❤️

Fueran fantasticos!
How nice to be living in Granada..its a great city 🥰
It was truly so lovely! I hope everyone can go there at least once in their lifetime. It is so nice 🥹
Make a video about the social life there - making friends and meeting new people
I hope it's AC water
LMAAAAO. I did not want to imagine them as people just pissing
great vid, loved my visit in Granada. Looking forward to my return to spain!
LOOLLL 🤣🤣🤣 I hoped it was ac water but for some reason I always wondered if it was the pigeons that were sitting on it, or maybe if it was dirty water from someone just having washed the balcony. Things like that 😂 never people pissing though. Although if you think about it hahaha may be at night 😭 yuckk
It's so nice to see your helpful and lovely video 5 days before I go to Granada ! Thanks
Hi WenFei, thanks for commenting this made me happy! I'm hoping it will have acquainted you with the city more or less. Granada is a gem, enjoy!!!
Yes , it gives an insight on some aspects unconvered in other people's videos, I really enjoyed it. I think your channel is a gem too:)@@lolamoro
Very nice! It's a gorgeous city, hope to visit one day. I don't mind the heat, anywhere close to 40C sounds perfect. haha. Great video!
Te amo! ❤️
Hey don't worry, air conditioners remove water from the air, so those AC drips are basically the same as rain. :)
Oh my, that's so good to know 😆🤗
Informative video 👌
I'm happy you thought so! Thanks for your comment 😉😊
is Granada the best place to live in Spain? I hear malaga is cool..@@lolamoro
@jeffc1736 Wow what a username 😅 haha. Yes it's pretty nice if you like a busy bustling town that is still small enough and quiet enough? Sometimes I thought it's better to live in Malaga, there's beach and more things to do. If I go again it will be Malaga probably. But Granada is so sweet, it's very hard to choose!
Thanks but that's my real name. any town in Spain or Portugal you like best?@@lolamoro

🤗
What an informative video 🤩 well done.
Wanna ask, do you think it’s the most cheapest city in Spain? Especially for students, and is it possible to get a part time job there for International students?
Thank you! In my experience it was quite cheap (and compared to London, very cheap!) but it depends on your budget. Rent is most wayy cheaper than the other major cities like Barcelona, Valencia, and even Malaga. The pro about Granada is that you basically spend nothing on transport, everything is so close by foot. I'm not sure about the part time job, if you speak basic Spanish it shouldn't be too hard to get a hospitality job, but if you don't then I am not too sure how easy it is. Did this help? 🤗
Lola es un nombre Español abreviatura de Dolores y Moro tambien me suena a Español; Granada es una de las ciudades mas bonitas posiblemente no solo de España sino de Europa y el mundo.😀
¡Muy interesante! Yo no sabía.
Perfect English
Are there public e-scooter like lime or dott like they have in Madrid ?
I don't remember seeing many, but I think there were a few! Not lime though I think it was something else
Great! I'm moving to Spain and Granada is on my list. How much was your rent? And is the air on Granada clean? Thanks!
How exciting, Stefan! Rent right in the town center near the cathedral was about £450 without bills. Electricity added up to about £60 a month with AC on almost all the time (which was necessary in the 40°C summer) and water was also about £50 a month if I'm not mistaken. This was a furnished studio apartment with a small balcony, but pretty spacious nonetheless. The air in Granada is quite clean, especially around the mountains. It does get hazy sometimes which I though was the rather sandy air coming from malaga and the North of Africa. But I would go live there any time, it was lovely and a great sized small town to live in. I miss it very much!
Thanks @@lolamoro. :) That's not expensive. Funny you call Granada a small town. For me, being from Denmark, more than 100,000 inhabitants is a big city! :)
Oh wow I can imagine! I'm from São Paulo so 100,000 for me is almost like a little settlement 🥲😅😭 either way Granada has a very unique small city atmosphere. Good luck with the search! If I can help with anything else feel free to let me know 🤗😄
@@lolamoro Different perspectives! 😆😆😆 Thanks, I might reach out. Are you still in Granada?
Nope, I only spent a summer there 🌄
Her name is Lola. She was a showgirl, in the copa copcabana😅
🎶No yellow feathers in my hair, not wearing a dress cut down my leg 😂😂😂 hahah but I could hear it in my mind and it's stuck in my head now!! I am still to find a song that feels more like a summer night!
these free tapas, do you have a choice or not?
Hey Anthony! So my friend mentioned it might be rude to ask for specific tapas because it's like a favour from the restaurant, however if you have any dietary requirements or like you're vegetarian or vegan you can always let the waiter know and they will bring something that suits that need :)
@@lolamoro ok, thank you. I'm not into pork and beef. I guess its like the saying "beggars can't be choosy"
YES HAHAAHA😂 well, you can always try to ask for vegetarian 😅 or say you only eat halal food so pork is ruled out? There's always ways to go around it I guess 🤭
@@lolamoro I can always try the other way around. First order a tapa I want, forget the beer, and get water. I was in Granada in 2012 for about 3 days didn't do any tapas. I did have churros with hot chocolate drink one time and they gave me so much churros, an astronomical amount, wasn't possible to try to eat all
Interesting ….but do you homework …. find out how the buses work
Hahaha yes I was only there for a couple of months last year, but I need to find that out still! Embarrasing... well, in my defence (honestly) you don't need the buses hahah it's such a walkable city
