- Here it is! The "filler" YTP that was supposed to take me one or two weekends has finally been finished after 4 full months. Oops.
I swear the Sonic Movie trailer was still relevant when I started working on this.

Too good to be made by he original animators but still somehow fitting, I am baffled.
You're so ridiculously skilled at manipulating the CD-I stuff. I literally can't even imagine how you do some of these animations, but I know it must take a hell of a lot of work.
That, plus your near-perfect sentence mixing and comedic timing just makes these pure art.

When Meen yells "Wretched child!" I always lose it. The higher pitch makes him sound even more fed up and Link breaking his headlight just makes him even angrier.

I appreciate the compliment, but that was probably the most simplistic sentence mixing in the video.
There's a line of dialogue that the game uses when there's an error reading the disc where Link says "Hey! I think your game disc is dirty". So it was literally just chopping of the ending chunk of "game" and adding the long A sound from "Hey!"

I feel like what you have created here perfectly captures what a lot of other past YTPers have tried to capture with worse editing. This is so YTP-like. Even better than that, I think that you have managed to net some larger feeling/ambience/style that I personally believe would speak to a much larger audience than just people involved in YTP.

No, I would't call this filler. I originally intended for it to be a filler video that I could make over the course of a week or two, but I quickly realized that it was going to be much bigger than that.

Unbelievable... your creativity is truly boundless. Quite possibly one of the best YTPs I've ever seen. There were so many hysterical and flawlessly edited moments I don't even know where to begin...
Some of my favorite parts:
2:18 The King counting his ABCs (for no apparent reason) and saying "O shit (ship)" when seeing Link's derpy face was fucking priceless
2:51 The fact that Link's dick must be so hard seeing the King (or for some other unexplained reason, rather) that the tranquilizer dart made a metallic clang when striking it
2:55 Harkinian blasting Link with a hamburger from his Dinner Blaster and the unbelievably realistic hand-crafted frames of Link getting knocked the crap out. I replayed this at least 5 times to try to comprehend what I was witnessing, to determine if it was actually real
2:56 The fact that the car is clearly 2-dimensional but effort is made (perhaps for the comedic value of drawing attention of the very nature of the characters being 2D in a 3D world) to make it look 3D. Perhaps this is so funny because there is clear effort in making the car conform to its environment (because the background is 3D, and so should be the car) but at the same time it looks so dumb haha. But then again, the imperfect nature of the editing is part of the essence of CZcams Poop, isn't it?
3:13 Link falling to the ground (the sound effects used matched the visuals brilliantly) with the same frame of animation used earlier, which I had still not gotten over laughing at/ trying to comprehend the existence of
3:23 "Better luck next time bitch boi" was so frighteningly convincing (given the persona of I.M. Meen) yet absurd enough to remind me that this is indeed a YTP, hilarious man...

Yeah, the car part wasn't originally intended to look like shit.
I made a version of the car from the side and from the back, and I originally planned to animate it like the car in "The King Gets a Car" making it start out the shot kinda drifting sidways before straightening out (similar to shot in the trailer), but I couldn't get it looking right.
The shot I went with definitely doesn't look good since the car is very clearly 2 dimensional, but I was too lazy to recreate it in 3D.
It's probably one of those cut corners that I'll regret later on, but I think it's excusable since the shot's over so quickly.
@@JimmyDPooper honestly, I think it's funny the way it is, regardless of the intention. Sometimes I do things intentionally sloppy because jankiness or weirdness in and of itself can be something extra to laugh at

Only if Jimmy makes them. At some point CD-i was actually considered a discredited source because of how unfunny and meme-reliant so many CD-i poops were, but Jimmy has been getting the source back on track with quality editing and jokes that are actually funny.
@@rainpooper7088 Well also the YTP community became pretty insular and full of "Stop Having Fun Guys" types from...I wanna say 2009 through 2015. Now there's a lot less YTP showing up in my inbox but it tends to be from people like Jimmy who are really having fun with their source material regardless of who says what about it.
There are actually quite a few very talented CD-i YTPers out there who've stuck around even through the anti-SpaDinner era.

Seriously, I haven't heard that joke in years (in addition to WTFBoom) and you managed to use them creatively in this day and age... I have officially lost my ability to even ^w^ Like, EVERYTHING about this is pretty much perfect. The animations, the sentence-mixing, the jokes, the use of old memes... The immense amount of new animation in this is amazing. I especially like how you took the clips of Bobby falling down and Patrick licking and turned them into CD-i characters. I think
You're right about the Patrick one, but I didn't use Bobby falling down for the other one.
For that one, I animated a simple 3D character that I made years ago and traced over it. Although I did use the Bobby clip as a reference for the timing, so you're kinda half right about that one.

Link animated laughing in the same style as I M Meen is only something gods are capable of.
I think I really hurt myself during the timestop FFX laughing scene. I couldn't breathe, and I had expelled every bit of air in my lungs, so my lungs turned inside out got sucked up the bronchial tubes. This allowed my stomach to expand into the available space, so when I could breathe again, my lungs had to wrap around my spine to fit. I'm functioning as normal right now, but I can only laugh in erratic slow motion for some reason.

For awhile I had a bias towards your veggietales YTPs (even when taking into account that your later work was probably objectively better), but this is hands down my favorite thing you've ever made.

They could improve the CG on Sonic for a million years and it would never give me a fraction of the joy I felt watching this poop. You, sir, have crafted a modern masterpiece.

Even as someone who won’t condemn the movie before I’ve seen it, this is absolutely hilarious. I especially love how you made that awkward „Is that a child in there?“ line actually funny. Plus all the insiders, such as „Harharhar! Funny stuff, my dude!“ or the constant postponing of The King‘s Nostalgia Trip. I also really appreciate the extra animations done for this poop, they look really convincing.
Long story short, this poop was a treat from start to finish.
