- Whilst camping on the clifftop at Whitby Holiday Park, we attempted to walk south along the Cleveland Way to Robin Hood's Bay. It wasn't until the next day that we actually arrived. Watch the video to discover what happened.

Very beautiful town and beach. Wonderful scenic views. I like that mosaic artwork. Yikes! A footpath that could crumble out from under you and a sidewalk you could get run over😳😲

That wind is why we left Yorks for Norfolk 😂😂😂. Robin Hoods bay is a lovely place. It’s a hilly coastal path isn’t it. You earn’t your tea that’s for sure on the first day. Thanks for sharing.
We really enjoyed the walk but it’s just a bit too much on the nuts and bolts in my legs 😃 Wouldn’t have wanted to miss the wonderful views though. This was our first visit to Robin Hoods Bay and we were not disappointed, beautiful spot and the reason we love motorhoming 😉😃🚐 Trev
Hi Trev and Sue, it’s lovely there but it is a steep walk back to the top. I think each time I’ve visited the sea was in and you could just sit on the rocks. Lovely mosaics x you deserved the snack back at the top x
We really liked the narrow streets and hills. It’s one of those places you need time to enjoy and not rush about 😂 We want to go back to this area, North Yorkshire is lovely 😃 Trev
What a beautiful village, you got quite a good work out on the hills. I have a craving for fish and chips. Your motorhome looks great up on the cliff. I enjoyed the visit to Robin Hood's Bay 👍

What a lovely camping location! I love the cute town you explored, but poor Sue was almost made into road kill by that van. 😳 Those mosaics we’re a beautiful backdrop to the water as well.
Robin Hoods Bay is a real beauty spot. It’s charming in every way and has so much to photograph. Glad we took the van in the end 😃🚐 Trev

Great cliff top walk - if a little windy…. RH Bay is very pretty but I would imagine rammed during the summer holidays - last went there when I was about 17 years old - many many moons ago 🤣
This was our first visit and it was busy enough mid week in mid October. Yes summer must have been hectic. So glad we took time to visit RH Bay 😃🚐👍🏻 Trev
Love that walk along the water! The little town is so cute! Just love that those little towns still look so old. It's really cool that they keep their original look and don't tear everything down in order to keep up with modern architecture. The old is much more appealing. Least to me. Those murals are beautiful!! Always appreciate a pretty picture! What a fun stop.
Thank so much, we are so like you and we also love the history of the old towns. They definitely knew how to build properties in those days. Many of the precious buildings have preservation orders on them so they cannot be changed. That’s a good thing 👍🏻🚐 Trev

If you do return to Canterbury please try the New Dover Road Park and Ride Aire.
I’m local and in my opinion far better than the one you visited previously.
There is a pub next door, free buses included in parking, that go every 15 mins to and from town, CCTV, it has a barrier, there is a footpath next to it snd within minutes you are in fields.
It’s just much better and feels so much more secure x

I went on a day trip to Robin Hoods Bay when I was at school and loved it. Been back a few times over the years.👍❤️
