Theres something wonderfully wholesome about the production quality of the skits. Always feels like old youtube. Just a group of friends being silly and having fun.

Idk, DL 1 is a far superior experience for me personally. I felt they really dumbed everything down: especially the combat
Due to gameplay i personaly think its one of the greatest games of all time, neck and neck with RE7
When the PK soldiers told you their life stories in the VCN tower mission, I immediately knew they all gonna die horribly. Subtlety isn´t really a strength of this game
I found it really corny lmao that was the most obvious way of telling us that they will die

My biggest disappointments were the volatiles. They were essentially what made the game for me in the first addition. In the second game they're not even out and about at night just within tedious POIs or in the case of actually managing to be chased into chase level 3 which was extremely easy to prevent in the first place. There's honestly a lot I could go on about but in my opinion it's their biggest fail.

Mortally Challenged
I laughed, it was great.
They should've kept crane as the main character after he became a sentient volatile, maybe work in the "stay human" mechanics and make it so that he has the appearance of a human for the majority of the game/masks himself and becomes a volatile in dark areas, maybe they could've had a story of him having learned to control himself yet fully use his volatile powers to protect humans. It could allow for a skill tree specific to volatile powers, maybe dlc? i know i'd buy that. Imagine how awesome that would be, not to mention story wise it would be interesting too. Something tells me this was the initial idea with some of the mechanics, like when you have to escape areas before you turn.
Yea I agree, a lot of stuff feels cut out or missing and I would have loved if in the dark you could change or have that on there somehow
That would be awesome! I mean, Aiden is basically just a discount Kyle Crane; same voice (different voice-actor, technically, but they didn't even bother making him sound different from Roger Craig Smith), similar personality, almost look the same, and the same damn subplot of him being infected earlier in the game. Honestly, with all these similarities in mind, I have no idea why Kyle Crane couldn't be the protagonist. XD
They could still make that a DLC. I honestly assumed they’d do that with the second game in the first place. Hopefully they do it
And then the game turns into some fantasy RPG with aliens? No thanks
Just seems like a very cool idea for a story but I’m very happy with the story we got
I find dying light 1 better than this one
I think my favorite part about this game so far was that house that you have to search, I took my time looking at the glasses, the books, the DJ set, trying to create the mental picture of their last moments, and then I started to value how they choose different activities, some people were sun bathing, enjoying the sun warming your skin, other hugging their loved ones, reading a book, chating with friends, and I'm not going to lie, I teared up a little bit.

I think the most scared I've ever been in a game was in Dying Light 1, meeting my first fast common infected, in broad daylight. it was so unexpected that a zombie jumped me while the sun was out, screaming and jumping all over the place. I straight panicked and started swinging like fucking crazy and had to take a break for a few days before going back to the game.
tbh i was okay with them (virals did make me jump sometimes) but that level when you first see volatiles in the night time… i didn’t even play it at first and then i built up the courage a week later 😂

@@BennyGoId Being a smart ass is always an option 🤷🏼♀️
Joe you’re exactly right. They could have done lots of things with you turning into a zombie. Maybe some of the zombies have turned but still have some mental capacity to organize like you said. Maybe the zombies are actually trying to turn back human. Then you could have moments where you are full zombie and have the ability to find a way to turn back human. That would be dope!
There was this game on original Xbox and pc called Area 51. It was about a spec op squad in Area 51 that ended up losing their entire squad including the person you play as, and you end up turning into one of the monsters that are the enemy but you do actually still have mental capacity in some form. It was really ingenious for its time
It’s weird they were doing this in the following dlc for dying light wtf happened with that
@@TheBrownCoyote ufff an amazing game that needs a remasterd

I guess im one of the few guys that thought Dying light 1 was awesome with different automatic weapons and it really made a difference gunning at Volatiles at night. After beating the game I felt like they added enough content in the following to make it worth working through your legends tree and using the grapple hook is so much fun lol. Especially during the events where Techland gave us almost unlimited stamina so I felt like a non friendly Spider man with a loaded shot gun swinging through the city. Really wish they had implemented automatic guns in Dying light 2 someway and made volatiles more accessible. Other than those issues I had with the game parkour felt so amazing in Dying light 2 and as always with the custom melee weapons I still shredded through massive zombies once again!
Nah dl1 is a cult classic nowadays
An update now that i finished the game, just some thing i added to my original post: Favorite part of the game is the space bar for skipping dialogue. ;) Sometimes it just goes on and on and on! And on! Ive got stuff to do!
That being said I completed it yesterday (main story), I enjoyed it more than I thought. I feel that I did about 50% of what is available. I didn't even get to the underground town! There is a lot more to explore and I will replay it at a later date, but for now, the repetitiveness of the looting interior environments just killed it for me, I got fed up.
two things that I liked that worked well that I expected to hate was the paraglider and the grappling hook. I didn't enjoy the final boss fight, or the leading up to it, it was just the same thing repeating over and over. Same renegades, little variety.
Every mission felt like "get the power on>it's on>oh no its off again, turn it on> off again>turn it on!
I realized what i liked about DL that wasn't in DL2, and that was ground variation. In DL1 there were alleyways, stairs, steps, the roads went up and down, environment were more varied (in DL2 everything feels like it's the same architect that's done every building, and since they repeat so much of the rooms and buildings and they all look very similar, you never get the feeling of a sprawling city, even though the map might be larger. it's like a maze built up of the same square dimension room.
I'd rather have a smaller map with more to do than a massive map with very little to do. It's no fun after a while. In DL the actual ground had differences in elevation in DL. In DL2 everything on ground level is flat. I understand that Villedor is a city and Harran was more like an old European village/favela, it felty as if people had actually lived there. But still! More underground carparks and sewer systems, SOMETHÌNG please.
In DL1 I felt I could go in to every house, every door. In DL2, 70% are locked. All the loot shops are identical, all the inhibitor hospital stairways are the same. What I found incredibly annoying was the triggering of Virals every time you do ANYTHING, and that there was no stealth to play with. You're spotted immediately by everything.
Favorite Biter was the backpacker! All in all, there was very little variety in enemies. same in DL1.
The heights were really HIGH haha, every mission where I had to get up a radio tower was a butt clenching, toe curling, upper body swaying ordeal. And the payoff of paragliding down was awesome.
I liked the "check the environment with binoculars for landmarks." I did not like the map. It was very static and since its transparent, id find myself on rooftops looking for an inhibitor, only to find that it was several blocks away, just overlayed on a taller building.
Weapon modding was no fun.
I wish that the key combinations weren't so difficult. Like, dodge, why not just have a double tap in the direction you want to go? Now you press Jump and then the direction, its convoluted, and then you have to remember all the other combinations, there were so many combat and parkour skills i never used bc i couldn't remember all the key combos. And since im a lefty, certain keys couldn't be changed, unless you config the file in notepad.
Inventory was also a bit underwhelming, nothing fun to use, nothing inventive. i think I used maybe 30% of what was available to me. I just stuck to the Molotovs.
As soon as I got the crossbow, it was game over for Renegades. Very satisfying. Speaking of, why didn't we have bolts and arrows dipped in mushrooms? that would be so cool to have against volatiles and Virals.
I enjoyed the faction assigning. It feels like there are 2 completely different games. For this playthrough i went with PK. I liked the feeling of safety in "my" neighborhoods and the feeling of "im in trouble" when i was in a renegade neighborhood.
I wish there was a way to interact more with my buddies from PK, casual talk that they could respond to. It was a lot of fun luring renegades and zombies to a gang of Blues and joining in the fight. But if you accidently hit a PK, that's it, they will turn on you, and you have to go to sleep, so they forget about it. The call for help button should have been a key binding and should have had a certain range to it, like 50 meters or something.
Im looking forward to the DLC, they did such a great job with The Following, I cant wait to see what they've come up with.
Since i didn't play it all, this might be wrong, but i think there should have been some guns available. I liked the tactics involved with them in DL1, loved to find a police cruiser and hope that there was some ammo in there. Just getting to it was a challenge in strategy. Making bullets in a post-apocalyptic world isn't that difficult.
There is no point in going up against a rooftop bandit camp. They are all identical and all give the same exact loot. No point in lockpicking Hard chests, the same loot in all of them, stupid clothes that I couldn't care less about, and dont have the time to compare against each other. None of that was intuitive, numbers on clothes made no sense at all, neither did different colored icons. Speaking of that, WHY are clothes so expensive to buy, but give absolutely nothing when you sell them? like; to buy=3000, to sell=9. Same with weapons. if you could sell them for a nice chunk of change, that would make sense having them in Hard lockpicking chests, but you cant.
Day cycles are too fast and night cycles are too slow (you can change this by modding) Just stand still and look at the shadows during the day. Nights all have full moons and are way too bright. There is no smooth time cycle.
I preferred the slomo look back in DL1
If DL1 is an 8.5/10, then DL2 is a 6/10 for me.
Good night and good luck!
I am genuinely happy Joe also calls out the fact that lowana kept shutting the damn door after she said to follow her.
She frustrated me in general, needs to grow up lol
Yea why some games do this I don't understand, I remeber same thing happening in ghost of Tsushima, first the peasents call you lord invite you to tea and their homes then shut the door in your face

I literally got softlocked by this once
I’ll be honest, glad I only paid $9 for the game after trading some oldies in. This is a Ubisoft clone. Far cry with zombies.. not a compliment
It was probably a cheap workaround so they could load the central loop area in the background without the game going into a loading screen as that's the mission where you get there.
I agree, any development in making the infected interesting has taken a backseat. In the first game it was a little intriguing because it seemed that Volatiles weren't actually mutated humans, but the virus recombining infected corpses into a new creature (via Volatile nests). Now Volatiles only appear at pursuit level 3-4 or during scripted story encounters, and none of the actual story has anything to do with the virus.
Actually you can find them in GRE Quarantine zones, me and my buddy at the moment get our asses kicked when trhing to explore a particular one as the volatile living in it nearly one shots us
So in short, its another WOKE shit. My god i'm so glad i did not buy this shit.

Go into dark zones, you'll see plenty lol
@@tanelviil9149 bro, y'all will use the word 'woke' for anything.
@@tanelviil9149 what ????
The absolute best part of the first game for me, and it's small and I hope they at least kept it, was hitting an infected zombie, that is just screaming and raging, and that zombie all of a sudden changes from a face of rage and hunger to a face of sorrow and desperation and the human within comes back out and says "No, please" as they cower in place begging for mercy and then after a second humanity loses and the zombie takes over and attacks again. Fucking brilliant, jarring, humanizing and wonderfully telling. This could have been the campaign, discovering that the human is still in there which means every zombie you kill now becomes a mercy killing of some kind. The one note I feel all zombie games miss on, is what the zombies are supposed to represent. Do they represent how we shamble through our every day lives never realizing our potential? Do they represent our inability to think for ourselves and thus because of this those that do are able to navigate life more freely and ascend to the skies as we sit idly on the ground, useless and waiting? I feel if they figure that out, they could make something special. Also . . . You don't need a final boss fight, Halo proved this a long time ago, but you do need an ending . . . and how text is what they landed on for a epilogue is just . . . They had to have run out of time.
Sorry to burst your bubble but nope they didn't keep it. . .
@@darkblade51224 that's a shame, it's one of most humanizing moments I've had. I died to the first infected that did that I was so in shock and even questioned killing it.
@@jordanshumaker4412 yeah, put on the bright side have you ever cut a zombie's head off in the first game and they just stand there for a few seconds and then you kick them and nothing happens. . . When you do that in the second game they go flying it's really satisfying

You should be an English teacher bro
Spent more time worrying about how to monetize it than trying to make a worthy sequal.
In this game Aiden is truely a killing machine. The only limiting factor to the number of enemies you can kill is not health, its how many weapons you have. He is so strong that gravity was always a much stronger opponent than any zombie or bandit
Weapons arent even a limit.

I always hated zombie games where you have an overpowered protagonist and/or overpowered weapons. It takes away the horror element.
This is true and becomes true very quickly in the game. I think by level 2 all fights became pretty trivial. Going into Dark Zones during the day is about the closest thing to Dying Light 1's tension as I could get. There is zero tension in this game.
yeah but so is literally every main character in every game

Wish it was bad so he go ape
I'd say the core gameplay is far above mediocrity. It's extremely entertaining and well designed in fact. The only thing keeping it from a legit 9/10 or 9.5/10 are the few bugs, most notoriously the sound bug.
@@TheStraightestWhitest tbh what keeps this game from a legit 9/10 and instead a biased 8 at best is mediocre storytelling, poor plot and boring characters. Core gameplay loop is great and it has inarguably the best on-foot traversal system in a single player open world game. Only Mirror's Edge comes close but it's a different type of game.
@@TheStraightestWhitest YMMV, but for me story is a big contributor to whether a game can be considered good. A good story or at least lore ties the entire system together.
Even more so for a game that boasted having a branching storyline like this one.
@@GhostReconerPL pretty much this. Games a biased 8 for me right now, because I loved the first one, and I know it’ll only become more amazing with updates and expansions. If the following expac from 1 is any indication, we’ll get vastly superior story and gameplay additions in the future. Easily bringing this up to a 9 or 10 for me like 1 was at the end of its life.
Holy shit. Text ending. Fucking, text, ending. Is it an tribute to the old atari games or something ?

Now with DL2 its barely anything which sucks cause i think they played it to safe making it more player friendly. But with the same support they gave the first game it will only get better
Agreed at first I liked it was a bit easier cause I wasn’t always dying to volatiles but after a few hours I never slept I’d just continue the whole time day and night cause there was not difference my other complaint is major lack of zombies on the ground night and day I can literally just run on the ground at level 1 and be fine need more zombies on the map as a whole
Well let's hope so. Because I agree with you on every stage. I hated going out at night in the first one but I knew was so much of a challenge that I absolutely wanted to. In Dying Light 2 I just don't want to go out I know there's no challenge there's no zombie conflict the only way that you even get attacked as if you set off one of those screamers. I think that's the dumbest thing in the world to me. They should be actively looking for you not just sitting in one spot. The game is Just Noob friendly and it sucks. That's not even accounting for the fact that I personally think that they had removed the blueprint of Dying Light one which was so unique and so fun and just cast it aside for the Far Cry 5 and 6 mechanics with some Assassin's Creed crap thrown in there. It's a real disappointment.
They do it like that becoz the devs want the players to roam at night for loots and shit easier, people tend to skipped night time in the first game cause it’s too hard, especially when you are playing single player mode.

When it gave control of my character back, it told me to run, but I stayed to see what Waltz looked like. Would he be a super transformed Voltile-like enemy? Would he be some huge Resident Evil monster? Well the game doesn't let you see it there because despite being in a "chase" section, you aren't even being chased by him. You have to enter the place and THEN he chases you. I turned around to see what he looked like and.. he was just a regular dude that's hunched over. There was no tension at all as even with low stamina, it was completely IMPOSSIBLE for him to catch up to me. I had to literally stop to let him catch up to me. Happens a lot in this game. Even at chase level 4 during night, it is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE for enemies to catch up to you as you just go way too fast. When YOU are the one doing the chasing in a chase, maybe the chases aren't so great. God this game was a let down
One of the things I love about Days Gone is that it is pretty much the only Zombie story that seems interested in the actual Zombies and the lore behind them. So many Zombie stories are about the humans these days.
And a sequel we will likely never get which bums me out
@@doomguy2337 So true, one of the most deserving zombie games of a sequel, and it probably won't happen. Days gone is / was criminally underrated
They for some reason seem to think that they are the first ones to do the "humans are the real monsters" storyline like its an original idea
Its about survival in a post apocalyptic zombie world. Tbh, i think they've balanced it out. Sometimes these angry reviews just sound like they're nit picking....
It's Cause they think it's a new idea even though it's not.
Just something to note, their development cycle got trashed because they had so many disagreements on everything, while their head writer was fired because of allegations, with no proof so far and the sheer fact that HE'S planning on legal action just made that rash decision a joke and you can see that even without him, there were still internal issues in getting to even be the game anyone wanted.
so just like every other game right now lolz (super bad leaders the past years:(.
that's what happens when you tell devs they're making a zombie game and then have them make a human crowbar stickfighting game. Nobody wanted DL2 like this. It sucks.
@@nousername2942 yeah i agree big time
Yeah they completely trashed chris avellone story because of those allegations even if true why scrap the entire story? Chris Avellone wrote mother fucking Planescape torment and they thought scrapping his story for this generic ass story was a good idea bunch of clowns.
Perhaps so but no excuse to the fact the game should've released complete day 1 without black screen text endings, and that's also besides the point those still at Techland decided to rewrite a considerable amount of Chris Avellone's story to repeat Dying Light 1s story with the same mistakes (there's still a random cookie cut 'villain' that has no clear motive to be evil, at least Rais could be construed as psychotic, this is just something else. And in which case, Jack Matt appears to be a bigger villain than Waltz depending on how you played. Why in the hell did he decide to betray Williams in the first place, despite his clear objective being in saving Mia. What's Jack Matt's motive for going behind the backs of everyone to have a false flag assassination ordered on Frank and trying to manipulate Aidan into not believing Williams? Power, a feud he has with the Colonel going back to before the chemical bombing, and even more initially so he can gain control as by the presence of the PKs and attack and rid of the renegades. Why does Waltz even have his own gang/army? Where is the motive for that? Power? Loneliness? Laziness? Why is it a guessing game? The game tries it's best in quite the few cutscenes to actually portray him as a nice guy, which makes his nature questionable regarding being careless to potentially being responsible for the murder of thousands with his use of X13. Waltz' depth is about as deep as Rais, except this time, they can't even decide whether to portray him as a villain or a good intentioned scientist) and considerably even less interesting or likable characters. I don't know if the other writer that left would've saved the game, but the ending feels like Chris considering in a drab story it's actually where it suddenly goes from bad to good, especially with the choices you can make from Franks meeting onward and I believe as earlier, Jack Matt may have been one of the remnants of the writing. So I'd like to see what his entire vision of Dying Light 2 was. It probably would've been a considerably more meaningful story with choices that actually make big difference like in the short segment in the ending. Thenso, Chris has even denied that any of the story present is his so I find it comedically remarkable how the story writing is inconsistent between the select few good written characters there are and the loads of bad ones and the choices in the end versus choices literally everywhere else. He did say he could be wrong however.
What killed this game was how they made nothing special about night time . That was the whole appeal of the first one
Bang Bang! lol. Hearing him say that while watching him swing that weapon like a madman. 😂
I thought the theme of survivors vs peacekeepers virtually non existent... i beat the game and only did two of the locations that allow you to choose which side to allocate resources to..
and then throughout the game the survivors and peacekeepers are just....friendly and constantly hanging out at each others bases...?
I got banned from the initial PK base and they’d attack me on sight. I also failed some of the side quests for the PK because of it
@@limitlessart6817 ofc they dont tell us this kinda stuff or give second chances. besides who wants to go through the long beginnings

@@AHeroAlmost yep despite being practically a super hero in speed and strength in gameplay every mildly hostile npc just gets a free punch in cutscenes, hell even allies knock you on your ass for no reason

This show has been such a comfort over the years. I'm surprised but also proud and happy you guys managed to keep it funny and interesting. AJ, you and OJ, and Alex, should be proud of what you've built, but more personally, you guys have really helped me out. I hope you guys can all find happiness and have a satisfying life.

I’ve been watching this channel for awhile now. And seeing the old clips of Joe and other Joe made me realize how old we’re getting.

I was 19 when I became a fan. Now I’m almost 29, so pretty much 30, which is 10 years from 40. Fuck that shit.
i think they should have spend the money for rosario dawson salary to improve the story and the side quests i would have been just fine with not very well know artist playing lawan cause honestly i just called he ashoka all the time it broke some imersion
I think the best part of Dying Light 1 was treating it as a combat/parkour playground with zombies and sometimes people as "playthings" (to punt of buildings and such.)
I love the way AJ and OJ switched up their roles in the review a bit. It would usually be OJ the one with the gun taped to the stick but AJ really made me crack up so hard when he did that role.🤣🤣
"We prefer - differently animated" - that is geniously hilarious
Oh great, an SJW zombie.

The first dying light was better in everyway to me ,the second was flat boring and uninspired with no objects to kick zombies onto to make them stick. Im dohe with the franchise.
The games better now

The skits in this review are the best i've ever seen from you guys i can't stop laughing with each one keep it up!
Glad someone said it. This game suffers from "The walking dead" syndrome.
Human drama, human problems, and sometimes zombies show up.
Rowe could have been a definite "bro moment" where you could have developed a friendship with him. But its so rushed that when what happens happens it has the impact of a wet fart in an empty room.
Its a fun game, but the story and quests ARE god awful, and it shows its ass in terms of how deep in development hell it was.
No offence but it makes sense that it’s more about people than zombies that’s just how it is sadly enough
Seems like TLoU, Days Gone etc they are all following the same pattern
@@notBrocker too bad the people in it just aren’t interesting or well written.
@@RevAustin68 I mean for me the whole game was just about finding Lawan cause I love the actress so I don’t care about the rest lmao
Edit: but yeah agreed overall pretty meh
It's not even a fun game, anyone who played and enjoyed the first dying light knows that the second is the exact opposite of fun.
I remember in dying light 1 the first night mission, it was actually kinda scary. You had to plan your routes and have an escape plan or you could find yourself trapped and overwhelmed. But eventually they give you the ability to grapple out of every situation and they make you OP as hell. It's unfortunate they haven't really learned and improved.
I agree so much.
Yeah not only that but they literally made the protagonist an OP superhero from the start of the game
Also, the fact that you could see every volatile's vision cone and thus pinpoint where all of them are just by looking at the radar made it so much less scary. The game would've incredibly benefited with only letting you see volatiles with survivor vision, to increase immersion and scaryness.
@@lutherheggs451 But thats the point. It made things scary. You had limited time to work with, sometimes you ran out of time, you needed to plan what to do. When you failed, it made things scary, runing your ass out trying to find nearest safe heaven. When you did what you needed to do during daytime you were pleased. The whole thing was in that small hint of urgency. It made that game such a masterpiece. Best moments were those missions that you failed (in time), yet you survived. I thought that was kinda the idea of the whole game.
Funny how the first mission can be so good, so how was the remainder of the game?
That "how can she SLAP?" is so fucking good lmao
Lol that skeleton on the background for the Sifu review xD
The whole time I played the game I question... is this really 15 years after the Apocalypse?!
Yes
Exactly aiden acts like humanity matters i think writers understimate hoa little it takes for humans to let go of their "manners" thats why i loved witcher 3 the world waa brutal and felt real this story felt like a child trying to play apocalypse game
its funny because even the young people still knew things about the old world...(becuase bad writing) and no one really ever seemed concerned there living in an apocalypse....
@@EIGHTMAG86 They've been doing it for 15 years... Anyone that is weak enough to have still be outwardly concerned about living in an apocalypse has died due to being too weak to survive in such a world.
We’ll soon find out for ourselves

Totally, heck even me dispite i had a tone of fun with it i definitely agreed with some of its disappointment with the experience, because yes the game has its share of flaws

I feel like Joe needed to address a few things, hopefully in an extended discussion. The fact that Chris Avellone was fired throughout the games development cycle, so someone else had to take over and change some things. Or maybe even the fact that the map was hyped to be 4x bigger than the first one, but really it didn’t feel that much bigger.
To me the fact that the map is flat as opposed to DL 1 and has like the same 2 buildings copy-pasted made the world incredibly same-y

there you are again, you sad mofo 😄
I got this game on release because I played the hell out of the first game. I haven't even gotten past the tutorial levels in the beginning because of how shit this game feels even over a year after it's been out.
I gotta say, running around the map, grinding for stuff I dont necessarily need, while listening to the Mezzanine album, makes this relatively generic zombie game feel incredibly immersive for some reason. It had and still has a slew of issues and bugs, and the multiplayer is not great (it does have its great moments though), but it's genuinely fun, it's feels good to play, and it's strangely relaxing sometimes.
It's at least a 7/10 to me
Man Im gonna miss Light, I wish he wasn’t dying he’s such a cool guy
Me too. I miss that guy already. 😔
Don't worry he won't die yet he still have siblings (spare parts)
Light might seem cool, but dude is a stone cold killer. No one knows how many people he wrote in that Death Note. Let that man die.

I like whenever OJ messes up he starts with, "Well what had happened was...."
I was hoping they would either improve or do away with the search mechanic. The groping hands in the first game was so bad I had a hard time enjoying search mechanics. This one looks a little better but it still seems all gropey and looks dumb. Rather just not see my hands if this is the only visual we get.

Since the 1st time I came across your videos, I noticed that you have a lot of the same taste when it comes to games apart from shooters. I'm not so much into that, but I have ALWAYS loved your reviews because you don't hold anything back. I LOVE the brutal honesty. Some Need to hear it 🤷♂️
I think the soundbug which is responsible that 75% of the dialogues have no sound at all and skips the subtitles in less than a half second was intended, sadly this bug slowly made it into the reest of my game...
What a game, im kinda glad you prepared me for that thrilling ending of the game though im pretty sure i wont make it so far
I love how captivated other Joe was with character backstories 🤣
Love that Joe knows "how can she slap" and the bloopers at the end were hilarious! Thanks for another review.
Once again AJ makes very good points and while I enjoyed the game for it's combat and parkour, the story is just boring and I find I can't be bothered to do side quests and I play it like a sandbox game. This channel is the last game reviewer that I know of that is brutally honest about every aspect of a game. So many reviewers out there just list the features of a game and say "I like this, I like that" and then tell people to go buy it, almost as if they're being paid or they want the publisher to like them.
If there's ever a game I'm interested in but not 100% sure on buying I will wait until Joe's review is out because I can't trust anyone else to actually highlight the negatives and actually talk about the things that ruin a game's enjoyment.
Sadly in the last few years there's been so many games that Joe has rightly rated really low.
Great review that pretty much sums up exactly how I feel about this game. I loved the first one and completed it both on pc and ps4 multiple times but it's like all the fun from the first game got sucked out of this one. Everything feels really grindy and boring, amd6way to much mindless talking that just feels like filler. I think I spend more time talking in this game than anything else.
