The children and their families must be heartbroken to learn that the school is closing. It has been a joy to watch Indy, Caleb, Autumn and the rest of the students embrace the opportunity to learn in a unique environment. Too bad they aren’t going to finish the year in the schoolhouse. 😞

Think of the outcome of that as with busy hands and minds learning the skills that can serve each one their whole life through our children would be thriving not falling and failing by the wayside. Yes and yes. And what about teachers? What makes them unique or even gifted & talented? Is it simply a grade they get on an evaluation or how popular they are? What if a teacher has a different way of looking at the world & learning that defies the system? What if they go against the current? How are they seen?
This was created because you/team just sent out a notice that the school is being closed down and the students don’t even get to finish out the school year. They don’t get to come back after the holidays. The school will now be used for Homesteading classes … to accompany your Homestead fest which was supposed to in part be financial support for the school. Building the school was for your daughter and all the other special children who attended there … why would you send a notice in November that the school is done and kids can’t come back after the holiday break? This lovely video doesn’t tell the whole story of anything.
