John Leguizamo’s performance as Clown was criminally wasted on this movie, the CGI was an atrocity even for the time. Still, loved this movie as a kid

When you’re a kid, this movie terrified the crap out of you, but at the same time I thought the spawn suit looked so sick
The way you kept switching between Clown and Clawn actually became quite humorous
Spawn was my FAVORITE comic book character, back in the '90s. I remember seeing this movie in theaters and being very excited about it!!
It was the first time i experienced genuine disappointment with a movie. I had NO idea they could turn out so badly.
This always happens when you know the original source material. You're not the target audience. The target audience never heard of Spawn before they went to the movie.
Advice from an old guy: Don't watch the movie if you read the book, already.
They wasted all there CGI budget on the Cape scene
