Time cop
Keep up the awesome attitude bro.
Time cop is still a brilliant movie and so glad they never done a remake of it or a sequel
There was a direct-to-video sequel in 2003 titled "Time Cop 2: The Berlin Decision". New characters, set 20 years after the original. The only connection it has to this movie is that the TEC is trying to prevent people from going into the past to change the present.

Same. Now I remember everything
Is it time cop?
@@omarbrown809Yes

So many van dam movies on tnt as a kid
Good recap of Timecop! One of my favorite lines: "Suppose, one of our competitors goes back in time and invents the computer..or the airplane..or the automobile. You wanna talk about the state of the economy, Senator?"
That signature split by Van Damme was silly as fuck 😂🤣
I'm convinced that he was such a thirst trap of his time, they just needed a way for him to flex his glutes in every JCVD movie with minimal clothing for mass media appeal.
Yep. I remember this movie. The "testing" of the gold was mentioned (in the movie) was done by carbon testing. You can't carbon test gold, and if you could, it wouldn't indicate that it came from the time of the Civil War.
I don't recall him saying the gold was carbon tested. It could be tested in other ways to see if it's legit. A serious coin dealer can tell with a magnifying glass if it was struck at the mint.
Bro you just ruined the movie I love
And they travel through time using an elaborate time travelling mono-rail capsule that accelerates them through the time barrier…
… then just disappears when they arrive at their destination leaving the time travellers floating in mid-air. Then they simply travel back using a little pocket time machine. So stupid. Soooo very stupid.
From my understanding the gold was stamped with a Confederate symbol on it and the date it was minted
@@jonathany.3825 I think you are talking more about radiation detection equipment not using metals already directly contaminated through being alloyed with already contaminated air, instead of medical devices. As far as I know, this wouldn't even matter for 'pure' (reasonably) gold anyhow. We aren't talking about low/mid/high carbon steel, we are talking about 100% gold or nearly 100% depending on testing capabilities of the time era.
Let's all stop and appreciate that beautiful '94 300zx Twin Turbo ❤ 3:03
Oooh yeah!!! Love that car!!
Absolutely. Love the Z32TT, with that VG30DETT motor shoehorned into that tight engine bay.
The guns you described in the beginning are not uzis but are M91S's quipped with lazer sights and modified to have a shorter barrel
They never even made a live firing version of it, it's a prip gun chambered in 9mm P.A.K and only a few got made in Canada, Im not sure if they wanted a generic smg look or homemade luty / mad max look. I do enjoy fictional weapons in media but a smg with no stock and those huge 80s red lasers...
While I think these days their is no real excuse to ever use a prop gun that could chamber a live round in a shooting scene as most common calibers can be converted to blank only.
The handgun in that movie looked like a berretta 92 with alot of JB weld on it that made it look kind of like the 10mm pistol from fallout.
After Lees death, no excuse Baldwin, the armourer and whoever was in charge should stand trail for manslaughter.
Thank you Mr armchair soldier general sir.
@@sumerbc7409 I was a chairman in the chair force for a short time but it was not great.
I did work for a few years with a company that dealt with prop blank firing weapons and deactivated weapons and ammunition for close ups.
None could ever hurt anyone unless it was a muzzle venting prop and was used close up.
That prop is a good example of a generic prop gun that is unbranded.
Some productions don't want to give free advertisement to gun makers and some brand won't allow it.
For example Rolex will pay producers for it's use in film but since the 80s they have a policy of someone can't wear a rolex while committing acts of violence.
Some strange rules in TV and Film, the majority of US films are shot in Canada or other nations due to lower costs.
Different nations have laws on what is a prop and what is a firearm.
Brandon Lees death in the crow was awful and it was shocking to see Baldwin kill someone on the set of Rust.
Yes I own firearms but it's only for sport shooting, I don't hunt I don't own any stupid pepper stuff.
I was never deployed in the airforce even if I was the likely hood of me using a firearm to defend myself would be low.
I have never fired a shot in anger and I never want to.
Nothing is cool or fun about shooting people or getting shot but this is fiction and so is the prop.
What stands out to me is that the moment the shooting started the horses got spooked and ran away except for the horses on the gold wagon. Guess it had the breaks on.
@@toldyouso5588 Just like dogs horses can get used to the sound of gunfire depending on their breed and how they are trained, they even make blanks with different sounds for this purpose but I'm pretty sure now they give them some tipe of hearing protection, earplugs for a horse must be huge lol.
With many films even the bad ones the amount of experts you need to make the whole thing come together is crazy and some have had some insane story's due to bad luck, incompitance or just a low budget. Sometimes the making of can be more interesting that the movie itself lol.
The most vivid video quality I have ever seen on youtube
I know, right? Looks like it was filmed with a soap opera camera. O.O
Time cop baby! Classic scene. 90s action movies just hit different
The intro scene stays with you, it literally blows you away. It's the most memorable moment of the movie.
The sarcasm of this recap is incredible!
I got to see this in the theaters. It was a little above my head at the time as I was pretty young. But the action was still good, and the ending was great. The 90's was a great time to be a movie fan. It was ok to be a male, and protect your woman and family back then.
I miss the 90’s. Back when we could laugh and get along. Also you still can be a man and protect your family. Do t fall for the agendas and narratives of weak boys. Sorry can’t bring myself to call them men.
Your son will identify as Emily.

It's free to watch on CZcams right now.
There was a television series many years ago called Outlaws. Instead of going back in time a group of outlaws were sent to the future. Instead of being outlaws they became detectives to fight crime.
Yeah that was pretty good. One of them only threw knives if I remember correctly. I remember a scene where one guy with a gun makes fun of him and acts like hes worthless because he only has knives so he starts throwing knives at a wall and has enough to spell BANG ! great scene
Also [Forever night] only he’s from the past because he’s a vampire, and also fights crime as a big city detective.💜😈
Where can I watch this
Such a good movie. I'm gonna add that on the list of movies I need to rewatch ASAP along with The Prestige, Last of the Mohicans, and Predator (original).
“You’re a smart boy why don’t ya sleep on it for a while!”
“I already did that..”
I saw this at the movies back in the day. Its a cool film. I always wondered how the guy in the first scene didn't hit the horses. It didn't look like the guy was holding those SMG"s very steady. I don't care if they had Lazer sights.
Always possible since the guns were advanced, that so too where the bullets. Maybe self guiding bullets that homed in on humans and missed everything else (including the horses).
@@ronbouley4616a uzi is not advanced lol
@@bryan70546 No, but they were going for the advanced weapons look in the movie, like it was something from the near future.
@@bryan70546and they weren’t Uzis lol. Not even close. He said that but they were clearly not. I mean for starters the magazines were not in the grip, the barrel shrouds were weird and random.
He didn't hit the horses because the screenplay was written that way.
One of my favorite Jean Claude Van Damme movies.....
I loved this movie growing up. I actually live in Gainesville ga and can’t believe it’s in a movie back then lol
Great recap. Remember watching this when i was young. Thank you.

One of my favourite JCVD movies. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for bringing this film out. 1st watched this as a kid but forgot about it. It's in freaking black and white though in VHS
And one thing that bugs me in the film when I was a kid though: how on earth did the guy got shocked when he stepped on the water while he's completely dry?...
I never even heard of this film until today and it rocks!
Awesome job
What's awesome is that in 60fps it doesn't look cinematic as a movie does, it feels more like a TV show... 🙃
I hated that about TVs when they got a little newer trying to watch older movies and it would push them to 60 fps it would make it look all off kind of like you're watching a soap opera. Also on a lot of movies 60 fps kind of breaks the action in movies you can really see how fake it is vs the 20 fps or whatever they used before.
@@Trash432 Exactly. "Soup Opera" is the best description.
@@Trash432 And the default if I’m not wrong was 24 fps (22 fps for fighting scenes like in the Jackie Chan movies)

jeez i just wrote this in a comment above and that it lost its grittiness and that it looks like a soap opera

Time Cop was one of my favorite time travel films. Watching all the actions in the time travel adventure story was fun.
Man I remember seeing timecop as a new release video, man it was awesome I was a kid and it was amazing probably not as good if I watch it again
3:03 Wow! That 300zx looks amazing
This is one of the best movies ever. I don't understand why they didn't keep making more movies to follow-up with this story. To me, it is one of the best JCVD movies ever.
Not gonna lie, when Melissa turned around, instead of Jean-Claud, I was expecting Ferris Bueller. Time Cop was cool movie.
technically all of us are time travelling... forward in the speed of 60 seconds per minute
Saw the full movie. Enjoyed 👏🏿👏🏿

To be honest, a revolver is still relevant against modern firearms if it was a few guys against one.
