Hi Brian I haven't had the problem you have experienced I have just tried my camera zooming in and out and there isn't any zoom noise on my video clips. I would suggest taking it back to the seller and get them to have a listen to it.Hope you sort it out..By the way I normally use an external mike on mine as the onboard mics pick up a lot of wind noise.
Hi Pete thanks for your comment, no problems with the camera as yet although I haven't done any videos for a while but hope to rectify that soon. I am very pleased with camera and I have seen it advertised for £449.99 which is £250 less than I paid. Whichever camera you buy I hope you get lots of enjoyment from filming with it.
Thanks for the comment if you get this camera I hope you are happy with your choice. I had done some correction using lumafusion on the ipad pro and increased the sharpening of the video.

Иван Лапенков Hi yes I used filmic deflat at 50 percent , plus sharpen set to 1.00 in LumaFusion on my iPad.
