- In this video I popped out on a Saturday afternoon back around Penmaen Burrows and upto Cefn Bryn near to where I live.
This is basically a video test of my Panasonic HC VX1 in it's 4k Picture Quality - and I'm impressed with the results. I also used the Lenshopper for the Audio too.
I also have a quick chat as well.

HELLO. I finally purchased the Panasonic VX1 4K Ultra HD Camcorder (HC-VX1EG-K). My first impressions are that the zoom performance and daytime shots are very good. However, night shooting doesn't seem to meet my expectations. In some comments, it was said that this camera has the feature of pausing and resuming the video without stopping. But I couldn't do it anyway. I need information on how it is done.
The user manual will come in handy!
Hello. I bought vx1. I haven't inserted an SD card and started using it yet. I purchased the SanDisk Ultra SSDDUNR-128G-GN3IN Class 10 UHS-I U1 128 GB Memory Card. I haven't taken the card out of the box yet. Did I buy the wrong card for this camera? Will this card cause problems with 4k videos? 128 GB which plus do you recommend is compatible with this machine?

Good video Rob, even though I can't watch in 4K, still stunning footage, I have a Sony HDR CX240 which I have had a couple of years now, that is similar to the CX280, but has a smaller battery, and micro SD card. Good as a standard camera.
Cheers Paul, its a camera I'm well pleased with - I can watch it on 4k my end my monitor displays any old shite nowadays! Ile take a look at that camera any difference in quality?

Is there a fan built into this camcorder? I’m looking for a very quiet camcorder with no fans that start after so many minutes when it starts to get warm. Is this a quiet camera? Thanks in advance.
No Fans what so ever - and it's a great camera too!

Panasonic HC VX1 can only shoot 4K - 25fps / 30fps, But your video is filmed at 60fps in 4K.
How is this possible ?

What different VXF1 & WXF1(?)
Basically the same camera but the VX1 like I have doesn't have the focus ring on the front.
when was vx1 introduced?
A Couple of years now I think.
There are some curious auto brightness adjustments going on as you make your address to the camera from about 7:30 mins. Kind regards.

@@RobCharles1981 OK Sir, it is during your chat where you explain it is a camera test after it has been to the repair shop, so I thought it was worth mentioning. Do you see what I mean yourself, a sort of brightening then darkening, then brightening again, between 5:40 and 9:50 mins? I am looking to see if this phenomena occurs elsewhere in your video. Have you noticed it in any of your other footage? Kind regards.
