Really isn't that hard to do but I highly recommend doing it all in one day. If you take it out one day, the take it apart another and the oder parts, if it's your first time you'll forget how it goes together. Other than that I would say its very simple if you have the right parts and tools.
Amazing vid dude, with you by my side I’m taking this job on. Biggest job I would have ever done, it’s you me and a manual this weekend. Let’s get it!!!
Brooo this is helpful! I’m glad you showed the throttle cables. Gonna work on mine this weekend and do the rebuild kit. Turns on but will turn off. The frame and shock removal is also helpful. I removed the exhaust and went through the right but cables I wasn’t sure so just lightly cleaned the gunk out. Wish me luck lol 😂
Dude thank you I got a 09 250f on a trade and runs like crap and I popped the carb open and looked yucky! But my dumb ass disassembled the rear end but kept the shock on the bike. Again thank you!
Hey Frank. at 7:08 did you have trouble having those 4 screws catching threads? All the screws are the same length but 2 of them have longer distances to go to reach threading. I may have stripped the screw hole in one of mine. I even bought 2 new oem screws to and they do the same thing. Ideas?
Man the fuel over in the states must be junk. Do they sell 98octane there? Here in OZ we have 91 95 & 98 octane at the pump or we go to the airport here in town and purchase a gas. 91oct is used mostly for cleaning parts it’s not good for anything else it’s rubbish and laminates your carb
Im Such a Pussy .. Im about to pay somebody to clean mines... Shit wont kick on for nothin... I have to jump strt it.. it idles after but if it stops... the kick start is not my friend. Should I start at Carb cleaning then Valves?
Shock doesn’t need to come out to remove carb… but does help

Hi, I'm a newbie in motorcycle mechanics and have a doubt. Clockwise in air screw (turn it "in") mean more air or less air / lean or rich?
I always use my old air needle on the float pin because I'm replacing it anyways lol

When I put the two cables on the throttle sticks very badly why won’t it snap back?
Your going to have to adjust the nuts at 8:21. I'm not sure which way but mess around a little with them until the slack feels just right.

Same issue on mines, how’d you fix it. Currently cleaning carb myself, next step is valves but any advice would help😅
My comment disappeared
That is BS that they designed this bike so you have to take the whole freaking thing apart to get the carb out.
