I will say this. It's progress for the Fijians. After a few seasons, they make the quarter finals. But they're not ready for it yet, and this game epitomized that perfectly. They've a long way to go before they ever mix it up with the big names in the competition. And especially if they have to travel for it.

dude its not a hard flight to fiji. No harder than being in north island nz and going to south island. Its a 3hr flight. If you want proof, fly me to fiji and ill report back how i feel at the end.

But following on from @Wildkard's clarification, I'm taking about if they have to travel as the away side for quarter finals in the competition. At home, they're becoming slightly more formidable as an opponent, but away, sometimes they absolutely fall apart, especially with their track record of ill-discipline and criminally stupid actions. That is something they will have to spend a lot of time working on.

I think the ref gave himself the impression very unfairly early on then anything and everything he just pinged drua. Frank Lomani had a bit of a shocker game and shouldn't have put the ball in a whole bunch of times when the blues are pushing way early and ref ignoring it. Absolute boring in from blues whole game.
Was a lot of confrontation and will be some sore bodies, Tuipulotu and Tu'ungafasi off injured, Ioane limping off as well.

Injury is abit concerning for the blues. I think its a terrible rule that a half back can just not put the ball in. They should make the put in emediate and none of this pausing bs. Cos there is 1600kg of weight its just stupid, they ask for the bind which closes the gap then they want a gap or its reset. And then they want a pause after set. Literally a bunch of people never packed a scrum made this retarded rules

@@Wildkard I semi agree about the rules, but with the way the rules are it's bad that Lomani is screwing his team over putting the ball in to an already lost scrum. It's also firmly keeping the ref's penalty pressure against them when it can easily swing the other way if the ref is forced to look at why they're actually dominating.
