Don't feel bad. I just finished my master's degree in cybersecurity and these scammers are people who have nothing but time to figure out how to play you.
First thing I personally would have done in that situation is went on to my phone and logged out of other devices on EVERYTHING important.

When going back on the waybackmachine, I think some dude tried to make an advert for his channel, I remember seeing a blurry thumbnail of some paper airplane shaped BFDI channel logo with some words around it

Hello Jaw. Just discovered this channel through this video... Related to a ongoing thing that CZcamsrs seem to have problem with which CZcams still gonna respond and deal with it (especially why and all things would Twit.. I mean X be the right place to communicate with creators)
Mostly yes, there are scammers as well as that. But there are also quite few of the channel majority that I've subscribed to as starting to get hacked and something similar to a scammer. That is "I'm subscribing to anyone who subscribed me!" Which btw is a fricking bot comments that does that in EVERY vids... And also apparently hacked or made a lot of clone account just to subbed bot eachother just to fueled the fire into the CZcams sphere which is annoying
You know what suck? Sometime some channel who aren't active for a bit even for channel that has under 15k subs (which is a lot) and the fact that I see and assumed their channel got hacked is upsetting. I almost want to unsubscribed but I don't wanna lose something that I know I've subscribed to the creators (which to me, I can't remember. Because of inactive or something)
I hate this, I hated every single part of the people who just takes away that creators channel just to tarnished their account and make it something worth while advantage of these hackers. It also sad that one of the channel you don't see be sticking around for as long as eternity on the internet just because of these minority on CZcams
I know for as big of a CZcamsrs with 100k or 1M can be recovered. And the audience will caught onto that and help
However if it did for a smaller channel and not a lot of folks (like me) wouldn't know what to do or to say or to even comprehend what is happening. Or even especially haven't followed majority of the CZcamsrs from Twitter to know what happened to them in their time. They (subscribers) will unsubscribe and forget what that channel was and never see it again
I don't want this for multiple of creators suffered these similar consequences become the norms, man
