Hi Lin, I can second that. The rose in question is a Line Renaud/sweet parfum de provence, I think Peter Beales sells it under another name still. Definitely a Meilland rose. Thanks for the tour.

Oh dear! A garden makeover in June! You're right about roses not liking to be moved at this time of year, as I know from personal experience. But with care everything should survive, even though you will probably lose a lot of growth and flowers on some roses in the short term. Fortunately you seem to be keeping some areas untouched and you have other roses in pots, so it could have been worse. Just think of how much better your garden will look in the future after this work has been carried out! Good luck!

Hi Nik. Yes, I had a lot in pots and back areas are spared of works. I dug some plants but there were sacrifices. All these works means I’ll w staying for a while now and will be planting more roses in the ground. A small house with big garden… just the way I like it!

Good morning Lin, the rose in question looks like my Line Renaud aka Elbflorenze in Germany. It has a very strong sweet lemon scent from Meilland. One on my oldest standard rose in the garden, it’s already 13 years. Thanks for the tour, looking forward to see the changes in your garden. 🌹😍

Thanks Gemma for confirming. I have this rose already and a bit confused why mine don’t have the ruffled petals and the plum tones.

Beautiful bloom of roses! I think the rose is Dee-Lish. Thanks for sharing 🌹❤️

Thanks. All these multi names is confusing me. I bought “The anniversary rose “ early this year, which I thought was Deelish. When it flowered, it looked different to my brother’s bloom which he bought as Sweet Parfum de Provence. It happens I needed to buy Special anniversary rose 😵‍💫😤😒

@@Lin_Greenfingerwow wait a sec there Lin have I got something wrong? I thought the anniversary rose, line renaud, Dee Lish and sweet parfume de Provence was all the same rose? I have the anniversary rose from Peter beales and sweet parfume de Provence from eastcroft. I’m waiting still on the anniversary rose flowering.

@@Jay_Jay It’s The anniversary rose = Deelish/ SPdP/ Line Renauld/ Meiclusif. The Special anniversary rose / Whastiluc is NOT , so the Beale’s states. Very similar name and color to add to more confusion.

@@Lin_Greenfinger hi Lin, well I could well be wrong here. If you check out my video from last year “not my rose garden tour” go to 11.30 there you will see the anniversary rose. I knew nothing about it on that day other than as you will see I liked it a lot.
It was only after I googled it. I could well be wrong but help me find has it down as spdp, deelish, line renaud, the anniversary rose? That’s where I got my info from.
Like I say I have both, the anniversary rose from beales I’m waiting on it to flower.

@@Jay_JayI watched your video ( again 😊) and yes The Anniversary rose is beautiful. I look forward to seeing your bloom. But I still want the one my brother has , one with ruffled petals and plum undertones.

Rose wife what was that sound, did you fart in the opening seconds? 😂😂. Now let me enjoy the video :)

Roses looking lovely Lin. Your new Parfuma collection looking better than mine. My raspberry cupcake I had to chop right back. Tiny tiny growth came from those chunky stems. The building work your having done don’t put down too much concrete that’s my advice:) your timeless charisma will look fab I’m sure.

Caught on camera 😂😱 I was actually standing amidst so much pots and stuff, everything was pushed out of the way. I don’t know what it was. Too busy making my video. Anyway, loud farts aren’t smelly. It’s the silent ones that are deadly!

I hope your Raspberry parfuma grows well. It’s a gorgeous variety. Btw, do you recognize the flower that is supposedly De-lish/ Sweet Parfum de Provence? It’s my brother’s plant from Eastcroft. I have this rose from another seller but it’s different. I want to get whatever variety that my brother has in the video.

@@Lin_Greenfinger I think it’s Dee-Lish, I could be wrong. At least it looks the same as mine. First flower or two can go large and frilly like that. That’s all I’ve seen from mine. Now excuse me whilst I compile a poll on my channel. The sound you hear as the camera started to roll, was it
      A. A fart
      B. Amazonian croaking frog. :)

😂😂😂😂😂 you are too mean! I probably wouldn’t have noticed. Another lovely video from Lin. You guys and Lin’s brother make me so happy with your beautiful rose gardens ❤❤❤
