Even at family weddings, it's the same story. Why do people assume that someone with a disability should stay locked in their room? We have the right to enjoy life, learn in schools, and participate in all aspects of society. Unfortunately, many places in India are inaccessible to wheelchair users. Buildings and premises often lack basic amenities like ramps, and when they do exist, they're often poorly designed.
I'm from Kerala, and I believe that influential people like you, CZcamsrs, should advocate for us. By raising awareness, you can inspire the next generation to create a more inclusive society. Thank you for sharing my experience with this large audience.
