Mimi, I think you should emphasize on this - a prospective student needs to look for a school that has a DLI number AND PGWP eligible course(s). It should be both. Almost all schools, if not all, do have DLI numbers but not all schools have PGWP eligible courses. You need both to qualify for work permit. What usually happen is that people, out of ignorance or due to incomplete information, get admission to schools with DLI number but not a PGWP eligible course. Upon getting to Canada, they start to find ways to transfer to another school with both conditions. If they don't get to transfer on time, upon completing the course that got them into Canada, they would have to leave the country, or find themselves in a desperate situation to remain in the country at all costs.

You can also get class 3
Class 3 is truck driving and it’s cheaper . Class 3 + air break endorsement
True…i always wonder why people go for the class one though
@@Mimiojieh actually most people going for class 1 are based in Ontario. In Ontario they don’t have class 3 and many people make videos based on Ontario policy bcz it’s easier over there. But from Alberta, Manitoba SK and the others they have class 3 + air break endorsement which is cheaper . I paid 3600 bcz i took final road test twice . If u take it once it’s 3400 max 3500CAD.
U need to hold class 3 license for at least 2 years before you qualify for class 1 in all other provinces except Ontario . And people like class 1 bcz it pays higher u get jobs like 28/hr and above while with class 3 max u will get is 25/hr. But anyone who ask me I will advice them to go for class 3 + air break endorsement. It’s a 3 weeks course max .

@@abiodundapo1691 so i just go to canada this saturday that just passed, i am currently job hunting at the moment, but one thing noticed is that most jobs i saw would ask if u require sponsorship for work permit, so i ticked yes. your bro would be given a six months visa hopefully so he can apply to a lot of jobs and then one might just click. Hope this helps. also your bro might need to tweak his resume to canadian format as mimi has said in most of her videos

You didn’t talk about how study permit can be got. Even if you have admission, how do you get the study permit, process. It’s not as simple as you have said it. They have to go out of Canada boundary before they can get the study permit and not from inside Canada

You don't need to do that, if you have enough finance you can book 30 days return ticket... But be sure you have enough money to show to them at the border that u can take care of your self for that 30 days and u will return to your country, but if u don't have much 2 weeks return ticket is enough, u don't need to book 6 months return ticket to be able to stay your first 6 months

If you book 6 months return tickets you are indirectly telling him that you do not have job in your home country
Is it a must to book a return ticket? I didn't know that. I went to visit my daughter and bought only one way. I was only asked how long I will stay. In general, one can stay 6 months. They will ask you how long you plan to stay. And by the way, I find it correct to just say 2,3 or even 5 months.
