The kid did a full flip in the air from the impact...and I don't think it was even over 100mph either... Messed his leg up pretty bad too. Some of the cars weigh as much as a bowling ball with all those batteries, escs , motors, etc.. I certainly wouldn't wanna get hit by that!
It's such a beautiful build, I think I would cry if it caught fire before realising its potential as the worlds fastest rc car! So many of us want to see this happen fof you Raz, and I think you will shake up the whole rc world very soon. I can't wait bro! Go team Schifrin 👏 💙 💪
congrats on the first run! I wonder though.... The canopy is really pretty but isn't it a better idea to have a really bright one that allows you to see it's orientation easily from far? You can look for inspiration at RC helicopters. for those it is also quite important that you can see it and its orientation instantly.
Oh well, you are an experienced speedrun driver so I'm sure you considered it. Very impressive what you manage to accomplish on a regular basis! 275 kmh+ speedruns are almost "normal" considering how many speedruns are above 170 mph

The carbon fiber stream line body is ok but I'm nervous of the repeat from before. But whatever you choose it's sure to bring some anticipated excitement.😉👍🏽

Fantastic man! My opinion is aerodynamic and efficiency is much underrated! At the moment I'm working on a 3-Wheeler in "Orca-Shape" for a german 3s content. I think if your car with the carbon body is stable, you will be about 10% faster! Keep on racing!💪

Huge congratulations for all your amazing work and transparency kept throughout the "build homework" and all your emotions. That's one of the things that keep you apart from the crowd! About this quad weapon, the results are promising!!! And about the carbon body, I know that you don't have lateral stability problems in most of your creations, but the first version of the carbon body had some issues, and I think that the flat upper surface can be part of the challenge. The common RC bodys have wind channels, created by the wheel archs, bubble roof, and overall design. Your back wing, continues that wind flow and improves stability... But in this carbon body, you don't really have that... One (probably stupid) suggestion: create an homemade small wind tunnel, to study the best profile with minimal drag resistance. It won't create the 200mph drag resistance, but in small scale, you can compare the best bodys... (one box/tube; fan; pull scale; ...)
I think at 188 mph there's going to be a lot of flames and then you're going to go "Back to the future" bring a doggie treat for Einstein- he likes those😉
Yes that was most probably the sparks from the titanium. At such speed, it would normally produce such huge amount of sparks.. And also there's enough downforce at such speeds to rub the car into the ground.. Mad 170mph and the 200mph potential! Been waiting for this build
For the carbon fiber body, how do you make sure the gps has reception? From my experience with miniquads the carbon fiber will shield the gps signal completly.
