Despite the memes and creepiness, "the" papalgamate is actually the perfect example of teamwork. different skulls attack the player, some even sharing a turn. You can see the skulls attacking when the "eye sockets light up".
I guess your right. Maybe help tale is really just a example of how well thing happen down here, even though it’s terrifying and disturbing.
Also it seems like the souls work together more during the genocide route.

This boss fight is really impressive. I like the sprites, the unique attacks and the unnerving atmosphere it gives off. The story is very interesting too.

It's all supposed to be very.... Corrupted.... The au itself is what happens when the branches of all AUs just end, they all merge and become amalgamations of what they were before
That frisk, is literally every single frisk in the entire fandom shoved into one faceless body, the only being that looks semi normal because frisk don't tend to have much differences between each other

not gonna lie, i absolutely love the bonetrousle music, it feels so ominous and atmospheric, bonetrousle is so distorted and it feels 'hidden' underneath the overlay of the distortion, which i think the actual amalgamates were lacking in my opinion, they weren't creepy enough unlike this fangame's amalgamates

This is actually probably the only thing we can all agree that exists in help_tale, if it has a full game released
I wish the Mainstream Survival Horrror genre was HALF as creative and scary as this. The implied "gore" and disturbing imagery, combined with Undertale's White on Black artstyle gave me strong Junji Ito vibes.
