Nietzsche talking about women not caring for truth is not necessarily a bad thing. Nietzche had serious critiques on truth and truth seeking. He saw art as the furthest thing from truth but also the purpose for human life. He could be referring to women’s natural inclination toward beauty, style, art, and elegance. Nietzche saw these as feminine qualities but also the main qualities of the cultures he admired most like Ancient Greece and France. “We have art so that we shall not die of reality.”

He kinda reads like we're thinking things through with the author or following him along in his thought process. Hence the contradictions and misinterpretations. He'll bash the shit out of something then praise it pages later. Particularly in B&E being kind of the point in seeing beyond black / white, good / evil

Good video on a great book, one of my biggest takeaways was his argument for the philosopher as a perspectivist. That there are no eternal truths but only unique individual perspectives.

I tend not to agree with Nietzche on quite a few points but still one of the most interesting philosophers. His criticisms are particularly great. "Philosophy with a hammer". I recommend The Gay Science if you're interested in reading more from him.

Hi, yeah Nietzsche is hard for Swedes since his philosophy is contrary to the social democratic worldview. However, some have argued that Pippi Långstrump is a good example of the Übermensch. :)

Both males and females have their own strengths and weaknesses which one can only understand once you are in a similar position. really if you enjoyed the book or not thats what matters.
    Good video

@@cathhernbrandt We used to be. But the reason why it is unexpected is that I didn't expect you to pop up in my youtube feed reviewing Nietzsche XD. But as for advice for video I would perhaps, have more key points - agreements and disagreements, perhaps comparison to other source and then talk to each point out of your mind. I think that would help with your opinions on certain ideas or books.

Ha he was pretty damn misogynistic in Beyond Good & Evil. He's nicer on women in The Gay Science. The man was absolutely brilliant but every1 has their shortcomings. He wasn't the greatest with the ladies which I'm sure didn't help his views there lol

You should look into Karen straughan. You have a lot of misconceptions on the struggles of men, I'm sure you have your own issues you deal with as a woman, but actually understanding what the grass is like on the other side might help you appreciate the benefits and privileges you have as a woman.

It might have seemed that way since I was a little mad at a person that is male in this video. However, I do have male friends and as I said I think both genders have difficult things in life.
