2023 was loaded with AAA games, RPGs, Action, horror, racing and many more and it’s probably why a lot of very good indies passed under the radar for many. Here is a reminder of 12 of such games. Some really deserved to be more considered and others had creative ideas, excellent narrative and blockbuster atmosphere. Hope you enjoy this vid.
I could see myself playing Chants of Sennar and Viewfinder. I love how you made sure to choose a wide variety of games to showcase, and most of these look like really fun and interesting ideas. Great video 👍
I dunno dude, sea of stars was pretty massive... and Viewfinder/Chants of Senaar showed up in pretty much every outlet's top lists. Agree Toodee and Topdee is not talked about enough though. And to be fair, I hadn't heard of any of the others
Sure they are big talking f sea of stars, viewfinder and chants in particular but as of the end of 2023 none of them broke even and slight improvement this month. Hopefully the indie market picks up.
Sea of stars is a great game but it belongs to old school RTS and not many appreciate or buy such games nowadays it’s shame but it’s true this is why you end up having a great game that didn’t do well financially and you have terms such as hidden gems.
Sea of stars and viewfinder are some of the best games 2023 has seen strongly recommend both specially sea of stars you can sink hours just loving the world and the characters.

Thank you very much. Some of these are very good, such shame not a lot played. Chants is excellent and innovative with puzzle solving and dictionary.

Don’t think yea of stars was a fail not sure financially if did well but am sure there will be a sequel for it the rest yes not many played
It’s in reference to Financial performance classic old school rpgs are less and less nowadays but it’s a brilliant game.
