    Very nicely done. I'm very jealous of those trees.
    I've just ordered an 18" for mine for the coppicing season here over in England. None of the trees are much bigger than 10" but it's nice having the power there to get it done quickly. 25" was just a little excessive for the majority of work we do. More videos please! :)

    The ms 462c is amazing! Two tanks of gas through mine so far. Mine is equipped with WCS 3 point feeling dogs and a full rap. Thanks for the video.

    Cool video, good technique. Where did you get the larger felling spikes?

      @IntoTheWoods1  Před 4 lety +1

      Thanks! The 10" wedges are from Stahl's sawmill supplies, the smaller 8" green ones are off Amazon

      I was talking about the spikes on the saw. Some people call em felling spikes, or bucking spikes, dogs, etc. Sorry for the confusion...

      Oh! I got them off Amazon

    20” bar?

    • @IntoTheWoods1
      @IntoTheWoods1  Před 4 lety +1

      Yeah! I don't like longer bars because they make the saw front heavy

    why don't you use a standard humbolt cut on that small timber

    • @IntoTheWoods1
      @IntoTheWoods1  Před 4 lety +2

      Here on the east coast the open face notch is the most common. The Humboldt is used allot out west because of the steep hills and the heavy notches. If you want to learn more about notch and hinges go check out husqvarna's video called Chainsaw How To - Notch and Hinge Techniques
