- Dinner was FIRE here when we came for opening day of sneak peeks! After having a great dinner, we decided we needed to make it back and see how the breakfast was! It didn’t disappoint and we are gonna show you the whole thing right here, right now! This is Ember and Elm at Dollywood’s Heartsong Lodge and Resort!

I love bagels with cream cheese and lox. It was always a special treat on Sundays when my Dad would bring some home. Yummy! Also, those coffee mugs were huge!!

That is my style buffet! It is different from other buffets. If they wanted, they could do an extended one that could include your more standard eggs and bacon, but I like that it is different.

Where is your favorite biscuts and gravy? This place looks amazing. We are hoping to make our first family trip to Dollywood during the Christmas festival this year and try this place for breakfast and dinner. This resort looks better than the DreamMore to me between the food, decor and everything.

A breakfast buffet without sausage, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, etc is strange in my opinion. I think most would assume a breakfast buffet would have those basic staples when they order then be disappointed to see the options are limited once they walked up there. Idk, that one’s a head scratcher
A normal breakfast buffet yes but a continental usually doesn’t have hot options so I love that they do biscuits and gravy and oatmeal. Things like that. How are you doing?

I would give them a 3 overall beautiful looking hotel but has issues.we stayed from no e 13th to Nov 18th.
Pros
- Beautiful looking hotel
- great location.
Cons
-Pool was freezing all week as heater broke.
- food was terrible at quick service and the main restaurant
- fountain soda machine was broken for last 4 days with no site of repair.
- staff at quick service was rude and not nice
- door man was very aggressive and basically shock us down to take our luggage and had to tip.
- rooms design was not good as there is no door to the sink area so if someone is in there early morning or late at night it’s like the whole room lites up as there is no door.
- phone system did not work at hotel
- you can hear the room Next to you sound goes right through the wall
Always growing pains with a new place. Sure they will get it fixed.
