What street is this on
For those who don't know, these girls with signs showing 2.000-3.000 yen are working for the bars.
They will tell you for that price, you can enjoy some drinks and their company, but it's just a bait.
When inside the bar, the girls start ordering drinks and have a nice chat, dance, everyone having a good time.
But in the end when comes the final bill, its like 10x times or more! Be careful.
That is what I figured.

That's not a universal thing - but yes, you need to have your wits about you.
There's always a catch. And its usually very expensive.
this is literally what happen in other countries entertainment district. some of these people are discrete, and pretend talking to you as friendly person.

I have a Post WWII poster on a board that tells G.I.'s their loins are aching and come see the show. I got it on ebay many years ago. Fragile and mounted on a very hard cardboard of some kind. Crazy thing to own. Very rare.

Ignore the propaganda on internet that tries to spreads hatred towards Japanese. Most Japanese do like foreigners and are simply curious. It is all about mannerism, if you are polite and friendly you won't have a problem. There are many members-only bars in Japan (especially in Kabukicho) just don't mistake them as no-foreigner bars.
@@Nyugen-eu6rh If a bar won't take foreigners as members is there really a difference? Many nightlife establishments are unwelcoming of random gaijin and this only increases once you travel beyond Tokyo and Osaka.
They don't like foreigners that LIVES in Japan. Tourists are super welcome

Foreigners aren't permitted in brothels there and most streetwalkers won't talk to you.
There are a few strip bars jn this area, but the vast majority of them are "hostess clubs" where you simply pay pretty girls ti keep you company while you drink.
It you're simply interested in sex-tourisn, Thailand or the Phillipines would be much more welcoming.
