This is dumb, your walking around letting her practice her English and your paying her money O_o. You do know that Japanese people have to pay to learn English, and many will refuse to talk to you in Japanese even if your Japanese is good? A lot of Japanese girls that come to me and say that they want to practice their English I have to tell them "no, I'm practicing Japanese and I have an interview in one week, I don't have to time to talk to you in English".

This is GENIUS, I dont really care about the actual Girlfriend aspect of it, but to have someone with you that can translate would be worth it 1000%, and as others have mentioned teach you Japanese along the way and answer questions that most all of us would have.
Absolutely. I have had so many bad experiences traveling in a foreign country where I had no idea what to do to have a good time. Whether any romance is desired or not, just having someone help you see the city and explain the culture to you so you can have a more fulfilling day out on the town.....it would be great. Plus, since I love Japanese women it would make the experience so much better wondering if she'd actually like you and be interested in more dates just for fun.

@@mightyx having a person translate would give you a much better understanding of the culture and or language. It's true we are fortunate to have our translation tools but I still would prefer a person.
as foreigner you almost get this for free ppl tend to talk more when ur not from japan. when i walk in the contry side i encounter japanese and spend half days whit him it was fun talking about anime and stuff and helping me.
I mean, it's just a private tour guide. Not a particular exotic idea.

I've done this in several countries. The biggest thing, especially in Japan, is that you have someone there to insure you don't make a social mistake. Etiquette is SO important there, that it is best to have someone to help you while you are learning the culture in Japan.

im shy too, and japanese too....but you know, its NOT your personality or fault, LOTS (and I mean L O T S) of japanese or asian women nowadays rather seek white guys for dating, marriage and being daddy. those women desire badly to have kids....and not just your ordinary kid, but mixed ethnicity. Its all over where I reside (both local japanese and foreign japanese) so I have probably all but GIVEN UP the search.....Im way to OLD for marriage or gfs (in my 60s....never did have a gf). I’ve worked in Japan many times as a research economist at the Bank of Japan, Ministry of Finance, etc. and presented many papers in Japan over a three decade period. There are many parts of Japan that simply don’t exist anywhere and many with a certain charm - this is one of those examples. Very nice video and as they say “only in Japan”.

I am Japanese F.But there are same services in China too.
In Japan they also have a service for lonely men where they can go to a parlour just to be cuddled and shown affection. There is no sex involved, just cuddling and hair stroking and holding hands. The women can also hire a boyfriend for outings and special occasions where they need a partner. The are very shy people until you get to know them and then they are very fun. I have lots of Japanese friends who have been to NZ and stayed in my home many times. They are the kindest and friendliest people very hospitable and welcoming. They have a great sense of humour and are very social when you get to know them.

This is more like a rental female friend, and the idea is good because there are certain places which can be difficult to visit alone. It's quite difficult to make friends in Japan, so renting one can help to some extent.
you do understand that 'rent a friend' is a contradiction in terms, right?
We have got all this social media yet we humans still feel lonely, makes you wonder if social media is here for the better or worse.

Your video is cool because I met my wife 29 years ago while working outside of the US. We had to date by jet, luckily she worked for Mexicana and I worked for Holiday Inn Corporate, so I could see her on free flights or she could see me. Anyway, our daughter is now 23, a Mexican American working on her Masters in International Studies and History and my wife became an assistant superintendent of our state school system in Arizona, and also helped open the Arizona Science center translating their English texts into Spanish for visitors from Mexico.
Tourism was my life until I retired early in 2015, which is why I celebrate videos like yours, because they transfer culture to a level easy to understand.

I have a japanese wife whom I met 20 years ago.So I have visited Japan over 20 times and I know few hundred japanes people.I highly recommend getting japanese girlfriend/wife because all of those japanese women I have ever met are honest,friendly,cute,kind and polite.I really love japanese people and their friendliness.One thing that is very unique there is that any woman you talk to is always friendly if they can speak english.Even 20 year old ones are polite and will talk to you if you are polite,smiling and a real gentleman.
They never cheat and are very feminine.So ...just go to Japan and getting a girlfriend is easy
