Life took a quick left turn and I have to give up on gaming for a while if not forever, I'm gonna miss this game more than anything and I'm glad to have played it more than any other game past few years.

Jokes aside game fucking slaps 10/10 would waste another 700 hours grinding decorations.
Only 700? I've burned 4 times that for crowns alone.
Fought Val Hazak over 200 times only have 2 fang +.... and Id kill 200 more because this game is amazing

There's no way to deny the fact that this game is truly a jewel created by Capcom. Even if you don't by the Iceborne DLC, you still have a great time hunting monsters and playing with friends all around the world. Even though Rise is the star of the show by now, this game still ranks among the best for all of it's unique parts, as well as being one of the best starting points to learn the overall of Monster Hunter and still being worth your time.
Every MH has their own unique part that non other has
I mean you have an new Gen aka the 5th gen and moving back to consoles it kinda hard to butcher that momentum which is why it’s one of their best selling games

Man.. world really feels like an evolved version 4U (another masterpiece). I generally like all MH games but 4U and world are the only ones I feel can put up a fight against some of gaming's greatest hits. Rise will never give me this unique thrill and rush you get when you hunt monsters in 4u and world, world especially.
I think all together I have about 1000 hours in MHW (PC and PS). Ngl when Rise came out I was slightly disappointed cause World was so pretty and the combat was so good as well. This video seriously brought back so many memories of playing countless hours with friends, hunting from dusk to dawn. What a game and what a time!

Just like the video from the dev dairy this just shows how far the game came and how much more it was then just a game, it was a experience and a journey I will never forget, truly this game a fantastic rebirth for the series and while mabye there's a few miss steps here and there world and iceborne are about as perfact as it can get and a god damm masterpiece
World was a breath of fresh air. Its the mh I always go back too.
To the day it’s the most magical and memorable game I’ve ever played , the sheer feeling of AWH when you enter the world and see the mechanics, seeing anjanath walking aroudn and wonder how the hell im supposed to beat that thing

Well I made the Handler account and soon I'm going beat the end game strongest monster Fatalis soon this be my third time with the third account on PC and it going be fun I just need to get to MR 100 and such but soon I be more then ready for this!
I've now played this game 5 times over? Got rid of a MR character I had to try a new one at least twice. Wasn't loving the old ones' looks anymore. But it says something that I can restart gods know how many times and its never a hardship, this game just slaps that hard. I just cant get into Rise like I do World, sadly. But I don't think I'll tire of World/Iceborne any time soon. Lovely video, fantastic editing.

I wish FUTURE MONSTER HUNTER series goes to WORLD route instead of going for fast paced action formula with Rise.
I mean Rise was made with the portable team hence the “paced action formula”. Just wait till 2024 for the next Monster Hunter that gonna be made by the main line team.
MHRise is a pseudo Spin-off title and was never an indication of major changes.. It derives from the Mainline title to be honest.

One thing I didn't like in MHW is that we couldn't watch cutscenes together in co-op (except for some of these added later in Iceborne). All the rest is fucking masterpiece. I would like to experience the whole game for the first time, once again.

Good Work man, but i'm totally confused, i have Played Monster Hunter over a 1000 thousand hours and have never Seen an Skill as at 4:17, The hunter does not fall and pushes himself back up with his hands and now i Wonder If it is an Skill or an Mod, because it Looks freaking Awesome.I'm pretty excited Because when you play a game for so long and you think you know everything about it and You discover Something new.I Hope Someone is able to Help me, thank you
that's called safe landing skill and you can meld that decoration at Elder melder, I reckon this is what inspired them to do Wirefall in Rise.

Beautiful video m8. I didn’t really appreciate World the first time around, getting more out of Gen and, later, GU at the time, and even skipping Iceborn out of disinterest (plus I could play those with my wife). Recently however, I gave IB another shot on PC after being a little disillusioned with Rise, and I’ve gotta say I’m pretty genuinely floored. Absolute 10/10 good stuff
It's hard to see any Monster hunter game surpassing MHW:IB but I hope Capcom busts another masterpiece out in the near future

Had to get this out while I have access to a PC so I rushed it, already spent like some 60 hours on it past 4 days couldn't get everything done in time and I had to remove a big chunk of the video all together.

I remember when MHW was new, it was the same as with MHRise today fans will go back to the older gens and say that those were the best. I also remember when people stopped playing MHW due to "lack of content" - and yes content wise MH veterans are easily bored of MHW during my time as I see on reddit. Whatever is your first MH game is probably gonna be your favorite, but not for me lol, so I understand why people love MHW the way it is.
Sunbreak is coming and it'll probably be great too. IMO all MH games that receive their expansions are masterpieces, but to me no MH game has captured me the way MH4u did and I've been playing since MHFU. To be fair though MH4u made me burned out to play MHG, still made me burned out until MHW. MHW Iceborne fixed that and I was so happy that MH felt more like MH in MHW iceborne. One thing I'll say though is that I didn't feel burned out in rise and actually had tons of fun. I think this is a good strategy by capcom, giving us technically 2 versions of the game starting from now on- 1 traditional (mh3, mh4u, mhwi) and 1 arcade-y (mhgu, mhr) - to keep things more interesting and cause less burnout. One of the reasons why I felt burnt out in MHG though was that it was mostly copy paste from all previous games specially MH4

I don't know if you played a lot of Monster hunter but for my opinion you're all right bro . That was one of the mh which let me memories. That was really one of the best mh so far
Played 7 MH games in total, started with 4U then Worldborne, GU, 3U, Rise slightly touched 1 and 2 none of them left this big of an impact even though they're all good.
Also, played stories1 and 2 they were great.

I really hope Capcom places heavy consideration into making a second Monster Hunter World. I have been playing Monster Hunter Rise I like it and all, but it definitely doesn't hold a candle to World (in my opinion). I can't get most of my friends that played world to stick on rise, they say it doesn't engage them like World did.
I mean the mainline team are already working on what is basically “world 2” (that what the community calling it we don’t know the actual name of the game) it just that we aren’t getting it till 2024 since June of this year to early 2023 is gonna be all about Sunbreak and we probably won’t get an trailer for “world 2” till mid to late 2023
So people are finally realizing
my only wish is that the team behind this game group up and give us an 100$ expantion that give 100% more content .

This game is top 3 of my favorite games of all time. Ive shown every friend I have to MH and this game is the one we keep comming back to. What a truly amazing experience. I'll play this game long after they shut the servers down. Thank you Capcom you really made something special, I'll never forget this game.I still play it to this day like Bloodborne and Skyrim its something I'll always come back to. Also the Safi Jiva Nuke is the most menacing AOE Ive ever experienced in a video game it always makes my heart sink when I see it comming.

This game is so good, I can't wait for a sequence to this. I consider that MH Rise continued GU, I want a proper sequence for this Chad game.
I would like to see what MH6 has in store, and considering that each generation is canonically 10 years apart we could get more development of asters and seliana.
There is also some things I would like to see brought over from other games like seasons, underwater, switch skills, and a personal story.
I agree with Iceborne, but definitely not base World (although the biggest redeeming exception for the aforementioned was no CC so hunts were objectively better).
