P2 platform is insanely fast Volvo still puts out pretty fast fun to drive cars even now. You guys just don’t notice because they’re doing the same thing they did in the 90s😭
Nice work we are Tuning Mercedes Since 1994,I have an S124 E36-T AMG Supercharged with 397HP 510NM and an S124 E320T Turbo with 578HP and 770NM also we Build an Mercedes C126 560SEC with W212 Technic from An E63 AMG 557HP 5.5L V8 with the 7G tronic + aß an Ingenieurs Objekt for my and my Dad's Company...Really like youre Diesel Work !

Changing the final drive ratio is such an underrated way to improve acceleration and properly put power where it needs to be.

@@star77-zastarax86 the final drive is just that, it determines how often the drive wheels turn for every revolution of the engine and gearbox. So you go for a higher gear set in the diff and your car will 0-60 faster.

@@star77-zastarax86 you lose top end speed and your cruising RPM at a given speed will be higher - so you will get slightly worse fuel economy at a given speed, but you’ll get better acceleration. Think of it like gaining mechanical advantage over your wheels - like using a breaker bar on a bolt instead of a wrench

evs251 yes only that. The rest were junk slow smoky and noosy shaky hearts.
They both have inline 6 so they can counted similarly actually
p28ro413ter but an updated inline 6 and an old inline are similar but not the same. For instability the 1g and the 2jz engines may seem to have a similar platform but about power output and control systems really vary despite sharing so much.
But all in all, the old Mercs are still very nice. The quality standards and market requirements this days are making cars loose looks and their tough engines with emissions control, exhaust sounds and safety.

New sub here and I had 1 of these in ‘08-‘10. Absolute beast over THE WORST roads and the interior quality is unparalleled by today’s ‘plastic’ interiors. Super beast!!!!

Got to watch diesel smoke here in Australia. I have heard of these new Toyota Prados with their regeneration issue getting reported all around the country...so much for Toyota reliability. Bloody thing smokes that bad on a regen that other vehicles just cannot see.

I have one with 4matic and om603 .I use it around 240hp and 300hp.I cant go sideways but it is still fun

wich intercooler do you "recommend" for a om646 / om 648 (i own both and both got a shitty intercooler stock) whole engines are stock but don`t like to maintain the full power when warmed up :/
