Robert Baer is and intelligent intelligence man, I don't think there are many of them out there, It is amazing how he knows middle east, I don't think any politician in the west know how middle east works as much as this guy does. I am not a fan of spies or spying but I have respect for this guy since he has got a high level of understanding.

i have read all his books an watched his videos i love them all wouldnt give it up but one book i received before it was revised and published i did what i was raised to do shreded burned and buried it dont need it still love to wait for a new book to come out even if some of is true and some is not momamary 1
Mary DeHart I am honestly more than a little confused as to why you wouldn't keep an unredacted version of the book! There's such a wealth of information and unheard truths in the body of that text... Such a waste.
my families have been in goverment my friend retired intelligence wanted to know why this was in my hands i figured it out sometimes boo writes the truth sometimes he mixes it but it shouldnt be out there until revised because security breach .
"Drove to Moscow"? This did not happen back during the 1970s at the height of the cold war. I'd guess his mother was already a CIA operative at that point. I wish the moderator would have asked Baer about his statement shown here about the people who had advanced knowledge about 911: He said he "knew the guy who went to his broker on 9-10 and told him to cash out", his brother worked in the White House". Actually he explains this in his first book "See no Evil". His mother was kind of a free spirit with an eye on socialism. She had a bad divorce and wanted a change of air. Like Bob said here, they were touring Europe before that and lived almost in their car, living on the money her father was sending them. They actually never went to Moscow but were being interviewed many times by Russian officers (KGB perhaps) to see if they could be let in the country. Also it's not because it was the cold war that Americans or other Westerners couldn't travel to URSS. A woman and her boy wasn't very much a threat to their national security.

I wonder if the redaction staff in the book release division go thru the same thing: learn 3 languages, finish a masters of political international relations - then get assigned to the library. Making it hell to publish is their only outlet.

they all wanna write,work in politics,have glam lives,make big money,and have POWER. They are smarter,well organized,and loyal. But,as always,they are gonna fly too close to the sun. They want it all and so shall they eventually have nothing.
